I truly agree. Steve Martin is a great actor, but he missed the mark when it came to The Pink Panther movies in 2006 and 2009. Rowan Atkinson would have made those movies spectacular in a way that would have put Peter Sellers to shame, and that's really hard to do, if not impossible. Hopefully if they ever make another Pink Panther movie anytime soon, they make the right choice by casting the amazing talent of Rowan Atkinson to properly portray the outrageously funny Inspector Jacques Clouseau. It would be an instant classic, and the only modern movie - especially a reboot - that is worth watching at all.

I was going to comment on the same thing, they cut the top and bottom parts of the video, when a movie or series that fits in 4:3 and is cut I don't see a problem when watching it on an old television but when an old series is cut to 16:9 I don't like it at all, sometimes they cut the faces from the forehead or the entire body. It would have been better if they had put the deleted scenes in 4:3, some 16:9 series, depending on what it is, you can hear it on a screen. 4:3 either in letterbox or pan scan but a series that was originally made in 4:3 is horrible to cut to 16:9 it is still better to see it in pillarbox

I would rather say, that they don't want Bean to look like a psychpathic mass murderer having fun watching a woman breaking her spline .. honestly. It's a bit frightening when you just see the "messing with electronics is bad" and don't see the very obvious reason why it was removed .. (desite the fact, he opens a light pool in a another aired episode, where he uses the high voltage lines to reanimate the guy with the heartattack)
