I truly agree. Steve Martin is a great actor, but he missed the mark when it came to The Pink Panther movies in 2006 and 2009. Rowan Atkinson would have made those movies spectacular in a way that would have put Peter Sellers to shame, and that's really hard to do, if not impossible. Hopefully if they ever make another Pink Panther movie anytime soon, they make the right choice by casting the amazing talent of Rowan Atkinson to properly portray the outrageously funny Inspector Jacques Clouseau. It would be an instant classic, and the only modern movie - especially a reboot - that is worth watching at all.

a lot of these scenes (like that chair scene) were out of character. they represented Bean more as some sort of sociopath dick, instead of a idiotic but harmless man child. so it's no wonder they cut these scenes out
