Currently smoking this blend and i enjoy it. Its definitely one of the stronger tobbacos i have smoked but its not giving me crazy head spins like some of the cigars i have had. Flavor wise, i get a very slight citrus hint. Very satisfying.

Good stuff! I smoked through the Burley Flake series earlier this year. I enjoyed them all but my ranking from what I liked most to least was 1, 5, 2, 4, 3.

Always have #1 and #3 on hand, with # 3 probably being my favorite. Took a tin to the beach this summer and loved it.

I think I only bought the #1 and # 3 because they had Va and perique. I think the others have Latakia in them but I honestly tell you this one is amazing right out of the tin I’m on my second bowl now 😎👻

This one and the #3 are fantastic burley blends. I don’t know if they are underrated at Cornell & Diehl but they sure are good stuff. Man it’s funny the first time I tried HB I hated it and now I can’t be without it 🤣

I figured this would be one you’d enjoy. It’s got a good amount of dark burley I think which brings spice along with the perique. I’m having a bowl now in my cob and I feel like this actually has more spice than bayou morning flake which is insane considering that the latter has 25% perique. I don’t understand how the Virginia purists out there can say that burley blends aren’t complex enough when there are blends like this floating around. Maybe they just can’t handle the nicotine? 😂 I haven’t had much from C&D that I didn’t enjoy and this falls comfortably in the ‘I enjoy it’ camp. Thanks for the vid Brian.

My experience with aging these Burley Flake blends is they turn a bit sour. I like them fresh, not aged. My favs in the line are BF #1 and #4, the others I can pass on. Glad all is well, cheers buddy!

I’ve tried 1, 2, 3 and 5. 2 and 3 seem to be the strongest in nicotine for me…those kick my butt. 5 seems to be the mildest out of the bunch since it has more Virginias. I only keep 1 and 3 around now… and I only smoke 3 when I need a good butt kickin!! And I enjoy it a ton more than haunted bookshop…🤣 Happy smokes buddy!!

Evening Brian, 1 and 3 are my favorite. 2 is mostly burly so it was harsher. 4 have latakia so i skipped and 5 was too mild for my liking. I can speak on 1 and 2 that they age well, sadly they dont have them in 8oz cans or bulk. I am smoking on of your morta poker pipes today the the thing is a beast.

No the Morta is really brittle you just have to be careful while working with it but it doesn’t ghost your pipe like a meerschaum

Other than the codger blends, I have a pretty strong aversion to burley. I used to think it was because of the strength of the flavor/nicotine, but now I know it's just the flavor. Don't like it. Drives me crazy when tobacco companies slip burley into an English blend. I get along with Velvet and that's about it for me and burley.
