Bear 650: First Service & 500km Ownership Review

Bhai I'm concidering this bike but I'm worried about the tube tyres and no double stand. Is this a major blocker?

i have not had any issues with the tube tyres yet, the chemical i told you about tho, idk if it works for sure but it seemed legit to me in theory, double stand you can order and get installed from the service center so thats not an issue.

​@@harshit7369 I haven’t experienced it yet, but since it’s the same engine as the Interceptor or the GT, I’d expect it to heat up. With winter around the corner, I probably won’t get a chance to test how much heat it generates anytime soon. That said, I don’t think it’ll be unbearable. I’ve ridden a GT with an engine oil leak that made it heat up quite a bit. In traffic, it got pretty hot-uncomfortable? Yes. But do you forget about it as soon as you start riding? Also yes. Should RE as a brand look into this issue? Definitely. I still doubt you’ll face any major issues with it, though. In extreme 40+ degree city temperatures? Yeah, I bet it’ll get pretty hot. But hey, only time will tell.

@@cramNcruise okayy Thankss this much information definitely will help I guess they can easily make it oil or liquid cooled but that would definitely make it a lot more expensive

@@harshit7369 it is air+oil cooled, it is enough most of the times and the engine is pretty old if you think about, there are rumours about a 750 in the works, hope they fix it in that one.

I purchased the new Interceptor in 2019. The red and black one. I still have it but Im going to trade it in for this new Bear 650 version... There not her in USA yet. Cheers from California.

You do feel the weight when moving the bike around, but I don't think it'll be a problem if you are tall enough and thanks a lot :D

I have a hunter 350. It has hard suspension too. Won’t the bear 650 rear suspension be better since it has much more travel?

yes, I've also ridden a hunter before, bear's suspension is better, but don't expect a world of a difference, they're both unBEARable on bad roads 💀

heyyy, if you don't mind, whats you height and weight? Also how convenient would the bear 650 be for touring?

I think it's a great pick for touring, I weigh around 80kgs and my height is 5'9, it is hard to reverse the bike up even if there's a slight bump or incline, but nothing a lil bit of technique wouldn't fix.

What milage does it give? More importantly, how many kms can it do in 1 full tank?

I'm getting around 20 with mostly highways, I think 230kms is a safe bet, you can push it to 250,, but that's going all empty , I don't recommend anything more

Do you have any idea for aftermarket accessories for saree guard and back rest for pillion?

You can remove the saree guard if you want, as for aftermarket accessories, I've only seen exhausts from aew and silver stallion, I'm also looking forward to getting a backrest, I did get the leg guard sump guard and oil cooler guard from the showroom but that's about everything you can get from the showroom (other than the headlight grill and other stuff)

Haha, been trying to find a way to record the engine sound, faced way too many issues with it, also the exhaust being stock and not loud at all doesn't help. Still trying out new ways to record audio better, the quality should improve with every other video

It's pretty high, 5'7 might give you some issue when backing it up from a decline, but i think it'll be manageable, best way to be sure tho, go get a test ride 🤗
