There's not much difference between Strength and Scholar runes. Scholar wins when the timing is perfect, Strength wins if we can't burst the target seconds after applying the Might stacks. Realistically Strength is better most of the time. The difference is minimal however, 1-2% at best. Pick whichever is cheaper.

Same. :( I can't remember the last time I ever saw somebody use racial skills in PvE. The trouble is that ANet doesn't want to create situations where a particular race is "meta" for specific builds, but as a consequence, we've lost a lot of "flavour" when it comes to the specific races. Obviously stuff like this Bearbuild is borderline OP if the opponent doesn't know to watch for it, but in PvE... I think what ANet could do is introduce "racial skill slots", a couple of extra skill slots on your bar that only racial skills can go into. (I'm thinking 3, 2 normals, 1 elite) These racial skill slots are only available in PvE, and you can now balance the racial skills vs other racial skills, rather than having to balance them vs profession skills.

@@Zaxares I think it should be in pvp too. Like the competitive scene is a joke, the more customization you have the better... I'd wager we should have a fourth racial traitline which is specifically there for your character to have neutral effects that are mostly passives/cosmetics to add more racial flair to your character. As an example: We know they will either remove, or nuke the norn racial elites... so why not just make it a cosmetic option via the traitline that you turn into a werebeast when you enter combat? Sure this would require new models.... but they did it in guild wars 1 so I dont know why it cant be done here. Humans could have a bunch of god related stuff thrown on for kicks. Sylvari could have plant stuff... of some sort. Asuran could have asuran tech/magi-tech stuff Charr could have their respective legions represented. Tie this back to what you chose when you created your character and wham, you have more of a reason to have multiple of a given class. (And revenants could even be put on the band-wagon too rather than being excluded entirely.)
