I bought a 450 bushmaster from Bear Creek last year and love it. Shoots great. I needed to lube it up way more than i thought. Jammed the first few shots until i lubed it. Put a Vortex BDC scope on it, and it is lethal. It is a lot of fun to shoot. I did add a recoil pad to it. It's on a Smith and Wesson lower.

Mine cloveleafs at 100yds, fantastic rifle. I have had mine for awhile, before they started adding a compensator on them. Added the comp when they came out and now kick is like a 5.56.

Always remember to wear your normal hunting attire (upper body) when checking your eye relief. In cold climates, the scope may be close to an inch farther away from your face when wearing your hunting clothes as opposed to your shirtsleeves.

I bought a an old colt bushmaster 450 upper 3 years ago. I’ve tagged out in bow season every year since. With ammo so $$$$ I still haven’t shot it. Hopefully not this year either. Lol.

Premium arrows or bolts and broadheads are far more expensive than most rifle ammo or even sabot shotgun slugs.

Hornady Black or Custom with the 250g FTX. Hornady Whitetail with the 245g soft point feeds fine too!

If you want a good 450 bushmaster to compare this to Great lakes firearms makes a great 450 bushmaster also they make a 350 legend both in the ar platform I have both and their 308 and I cant say enough about them

My experience the problem is the bolt carrier. The gas key out of alignment has been the main issue. I swapped it for a psa bolt carrier. However, I didn't buy a complete fire from them, just uppers.
