That's a quote from someone who's been forgiven by death and given another chance. I took away the same lesson after I almost died on my first week working with mud; a cart full of dirt and stones fell on top of me, almost broke my skull and could have left my left arm paralyzed but none of that happened, I managed to go back home, limping, and realized that my job wouldn't have cared if I died or not, nothing was gonna stop for me. Since that day I promised myself to watch out what I dare to do because "you'll only get it wrong once."

I grew up watching Man vs Wild with my father and always felt like it was the main way that we bonded. My Father had suffered from a few strokes when I was younger and sadly past away when I was 16. Today I'm 26 and this interview reminded me of how I always looked up to Bear Grylls in a way and I forgot about the happiness he would bring my dad. I just feel like I can't say nothing more but other than thank you... thank you for helping me remember those memories that I had locked away during those hard times and now they can help me to keep moving forward either if it's at home or exploring the wild with my Father's spirit along with me.

I saw Bear Grylls maybe a month ago with his wife in Starbucks. He came in and instantly a guy with a “help for hero’s” shirt on spotted him and asked for a photo, and even though it looked like Bear was in a bit of a rush he couldn’t have been more gracious and had a little chat with everyone that asked for a photo before heading back to the most Bear Grylls car you can imagine, a slightly muddy Land Rover. Really is as kind and as humble as he comes across in this interview, in real life.

I remember years back there was the trend of "Man vs Wild VS Survivorman". IIRC, the overwhelming conclusion was Survivorman was more 'authentic', but I dont remember Man vs Wild being proven to just be a drama. @@Mike_Dubayou Man Vs Wild was just a drama. He never slept in the shelters he made. He never actually ate the food he ate outside of the one-bite stunts. He slept in hotels nearby, or large comfortable tents where he had hot meals and snack breaks from shooting. He would do a stunt, hop on a quad, in a truck or in a chopper to the next location to do the next stunt. Man Vs Wild was entirely a reality show drama with no authentic survival at all. In fact almost everything he did was 100% antithetical to actual survival technique and following any of the advice on the show increases your likelihood of death, not survival. For his willingness to try to present the show as something else for such a long time, I have no respect for Bear Grylls. This is an episode I'm going to just skip.

Hey!! Did you know God is three in one!? The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit! Bless him! Jesus died for our sins, rose from the dead, and gives salvation to everyone who has faith in him! True faith in Jesus will have you bear good fruit and *drastically* change for the better! Have a blessed day, everyone!! ❤

Your worries (yes, anxiety), depression, suicidal thoughts, EVERYTHING will melt away and be NO MORE when you lean on God and put your trust in him!! When I have physical pain, I literally pray and the Lord quells it, that I am healed!! Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals! People are bothered by his name. The world hates the truth and wants to continue living sinfully!! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous.

@@nickfosley2882 Les Stroud is a survivalist who is upset that the masses throw around Bears name more than his. In his mind he's thinking "rah rah Im a REAL survivalist, I don't have a film crew with me.. Why aren't people acknowledging me!?!!!" Bear is entertaining, but also educational, he might have a film crew and some scenarios set up, but the purpose is to teach you what to do in those scenarios. He would only be a fake or a phoney if he was dropped into somewhere with a script and had someone telling him what to do for the camera.. That's not the case. Bear has the knowledge, he has the skills and he has the accolades to back up everything he teaches. No one should be questioning Bears ability.

@@ThePluralApostrophe Bear Grylls has climbed the Everest, survived in the most extreme scenarios, he _is_ a professional survivalist. _Then,_ he made an informative tv series where he would show you what to do and what you can eat, but it had to be entertaining and safe for the workers (and for the suing aspect of an employer), so that meant he didn’t had to risk again his life when the cameras were off. @elderlyoogway
@elderlyoogway 2 жыл бұрын
@@toxicgracie3772 the thing is that Discovery didn’t want to fund a show if it didn’t had a professional camera crew with it (to make it entertaining and a success). So now you had to account for a crew of non survivalists that would increase the show success (it pretty much did) but it would impose limits to Bear’s freedom as a survivalist in the wild. He’s as legit as Stroud, the difference is that in a realistic business set, Man vs Wild was a hit. It combined legit skills (talent) with the entertainment business mindset (entrepreneurship). People get mad at the talent when he prolly wasn’t the one calling the shots regarding coworkers rights or format.

This world is rapidly passing away and I hope that you repent and take time to change before all out disaster occurs! Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36) if you believed in Messiah you would be following His commands as best as you could. If you are not a follower of Messiah I would highly recommend becoming one. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life - Revelation 3:20. Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!
