To be fair, all Punch-Out characters are just massive stereotypes. They are done very respectfully however and genuinely make all the characters super lovable, unique, and iconic.

As a Canadian myself, Bear Hugger just puts a big stupid smile on my face. Most of the characters give me some joy but the ones I relate to in tearms of country of origin, I hold a special place in my heart for them.

As an American, Super Macho Man is sooooo realistic. A vain SoCaler (Southern California) whose style is more about looking good than being effective and who is milking his time in the limelight for all it's worth? Compared to some of the real SoCal elite he's positively mild and likeable.

@@PerfectAzrael He's all power and speed, no technique. Even Great Tiger and Bald Bull are harder challenges because SMM has a more easily recognizable pattern. The only thing difficult about SMM is how hard he can punish you if you make a mistake.

Tip: When Bear hugger starts taking out his tongue, if you have a star and he has a bit of health gone, you can't KO him, but you can knock him over.
