If i sent yall a blackout intrigue xs for some new strings it’s the same specs as the legit 28in draw 70lb draw weight 430-440 gr arrow yall think we could get it to 260ish fps?

@@archeryshack on that Legit, if I’m pulling 26” @ 66#, and want to run 200 grains out front, what spine arrow would you recommend?

@@stevepauley2437 At 26" DL, you won;t be able to get 66 pounds. I only get 65.4 pounds @ 29.5. With a 399.6 gn arrow, i get 277 fps , and 297 with a 346 gn Victory RIP XV

@@kb198219k my scale begs to differ. Totally maxed out, and at 26” it says 66#.

@@stevepauley2437 I have this same bow at 26” draw after string stretch my scale weight said 60lbs I put 5 turns in top and bottom of cables back at 65lbs. I’m shooting GT hunter xp 300 spine at 26.5” 100gr brass insert and 200gr broadhead. My arrow is around 250fps out to 20-30 then drops to around 240 at 40. I don’t know exactly how you’re wanting to build your arrows but I also tested 100-250gr field points with the 100gr insert and with a little finesse was able to get all the points shooting like darts. I also was shooting 340 spine last year with 50gr insert and 125gr broadhead up front and that shot ok. Hope that helps if you didn’t already find something you like.

I own both the Bear Legit & the Sanlida Dragon 8x... To be honest I prefer the Dragon 8x for these reason's: 1. Finish: the Bear Legit riser is a raw casting. The finish is rough and you can still see the mold seams and flashing. They just painted over it. The Dragon riser is a machined part? (I believe? ) but the metal finish prior to painting is smooth. No seams, no flashing. 2. Sound: the Bear Legit is noticeably louder. The Dragon is Noticeably Quieter. 3. Weight: I'm not sure which bow is lighter naked? But I don't use them that way so that doesn't matter to me, but the Bear Legit seems heavier, and that may be the accessories. I love Trophy Ridge stuff, it's just not the lightest options. The Dragon has lighter accessories. If I were to only buy one bow, or were just starting out, knowing what I know now, at nearly half the price, I'd buy the Dragon 8x hands down. The Dragon also comes with a soft case, arrows, a release, and limb stand, and a silicone arrow grip/ puller.... the Bear Legit don't....? Hope this helps!
