This song has destroyed me since I first heard it. I stood with my Dad at my Mom's grave as a boy. I saw him fight the anguish, and it took me years to understand it. 30 years later I heard this. It is a beautiful song, but it kills me to this day.

STOP. My best friend and soulmate just died in May, we shared love for Dermot’s music. Now, I listen to this song everyday thinking about him, it’s what gets me thru the day to keep pushing like he would want me to. I’m mind blown you’re singing this together. “Agape” is the song I listened to when I was driving to him in the hospital. I was an hour too late.. Bear’s Den and Dermot have gotten me through so much for different reasons. This is incredible. ♥️

This song is in the Movie "Love at First Sight" it was so good, I had to search the lyrics which brought me here.. well done! Perfect tribute to the movie, this was played at a memorial for a woman dying of cancer, but she hadn't passed yet, as she wanted to attend her own funeral.
