Never trust a wild animal, especially with offspring - Period! I have hunted for over 40 years and it never ceases to amaze me how tourists think wild animals will react like rational human beings...Wrong.Wrong.Wrong!!! You're damn lucky nothing happened!!! How careless....

no it wasn't--bear just hungry but she was not going to risk her health or the cubs health for a unknown outcome--no threat by her or the people so all is cool

The bear was slightly upset. It was chomping its jaws from time to time. The tourists are really lucky not to be mauled.

Bear's body language shows provided these human stayed at bay, she was not about to charge. Just sniffing with suspicion to protect her cub..

I think "slightly upset" is a fair assessment. There are no mama bears that want a crowd of people around her cubs.

Keep challenging the bear with peaceful interactions . Maybe pet her cub in a “peaceful” interaction and learn about nature’s instincts.

The mama bear looked shocked. She was wondering why he's making himself look smaller, hanging around me and my cub, and holding a bunch of food in his backpack. It looked like she was going to turn around and maul him just on principle

She got down wind and smelled something that made her turn and take interest. Those people are lucky, and if they were armed, the bear is lucky she didn’t attack. Not sure why people try to get that close to animals like this?

Wonderful & very amazing is what I'm thinking 🤔 Here. As that mother Bear 🐻🐻 is being so Tolerable & even with Her Cub by Her side. This is Great and as I said just an amazing encounter. When the animals of the Wild do this type of things. I'm a firm believer that they are really and truly trying too cope with our more frequent presence, & intrusive addition too Their domain. But also I'm hoping that we humans, are Not forgetting that they are Apex Predators & still are extremely & Highly Unpredictable. We are also basically Animals in Their World as Well. TKS.

😳 People are stupid. I worked as a zookeeper, and one of the animals I took care of was a very old, toothless film/circus bear that barely moved. One day, I went to fill up his water container and reached in front of him. With lightning speed, he snapped down on my arm and face planted me on the floor. All I could do was hold still until he decided to let me go.

How terrifying! I would never ever want to be that close to a wild animal! I love wildlife but choose to stay a safe distance away, if possible. 9/10 times can go good, but it's that 1 time it goes bad.☠

best thing to do is leave mom and baby alone.. that Bear will eat you up.. stand you ground but do not. attempt to run.. its better if she walks up on you.. vs.. you walking up on her..

kinda hope she would have charged them and maybe got one of them because this sht is ridiculous. Wildlife has no privacy. All the pictures you see of wildlife don't show you how they're surrounded by vehicles and tourists taking pictures. It's Disgusting

I thought you were supposed to cluster together, make yourself as big as possible, speak in a low voice. Here’s a guy separate from the others, on his knees. The rest is sitting down, some with backs turned, no bear spray in sight. 2 secs away from a slaughter.
