Ok Ok I guess I am finally getting the hang of it after reading your 1st book and practicing for almost a year with both paper and real money, today I made $460 in 5 minutes in my paper money account trading XPEV after I identified it as a good opportunity, I entered exactly at the point when you added heavily 9:45 am, but of course, I got out very early a typical beginner's mistake. I will now read your advanced techniques book. thanks for sharing.

Andrew, you asked if it makes sense (7:35)...it totally does. As for the value of these recaps, it's a question of whether it's worth your time. I personally enjoy them and, unfortunately for you, I watch most of them when you do them in the chat room. Nonetheless, I watched this KZbin recap because I took the same trade (much, much smaller share size) and I wanted to hear what you were thinking as you moved through the trade. I felt that XPEV's L2 chart was easier to read than most (weighted heavily to the sell side) and it stayed true to the L2 for a long time. Not all stocks perform this way, I've found. I, too, steal Brian's watchlist (LOL), although I don't think he had XPEV on it on 11/30. Thank you sir!

Love this video: thank you! Andrew, was your first trade on XPEV a classic "abcd pattern" or did you consider it a 5-min ORB? (or both?) Happy travels!
@BearBullTraders
@BearBullTraders Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, both, in 5m that doji was a little bit worrisome but in 1m it was holding 9MA and with L2 confirmation it offered very good opportunities with nice R:R

I'm interested in joining BBT chat, but a 7-day trial isn't sufficient. Most companies require a two-week training period; therefore, you should consider a 14-day trial period. If it's a good fit, have the member pay for the two weeks once signed up. Just a suggestion.

Nice job Andrew, much better precise explanation. Another reason that the big ask can mean that the price will move to that price is that market makers will be motivated to move the price to the large pools of liquidity to get more shares transacted. Thanks

I like this recap more. It was quite new. The old recaps was always the same. I would like if you add Spezial details to your recaps. Maybe one time your stops, or your adding and so on. Go more on Detail. This would be more interesting. Due to the meetup: I hope you will do a meetup in Europe one day. And I hope you will visit Europe again after visiting Florenz. As I told it so sad that I am in Dublin this weekend.

what if the big seller on the level 2 is confident that the price will reach his level, so maybe he's thinking " why sell for cheaper when i can sell for this price instead"?
@BearBullTraders
@BearBullTraders Жыл бұрын
Exactly, this is what drives the price higher, those big asks down below the order book are waiting the price to come to them, when more traders see this they join them and this acts like a magnet for the price.

Thanks, Andrew. For once, we traded the same type of stock (I don't generally trade high priced, high cap stocks). Question, though...I know you don't generally trade after the first hour, but on days when there is a market moving event (potential), do you stick around, or come back, to trade those events? Powell's speech at the Brooking's Institute was being anticipated as one of the big economic events of the week, and given what happened at Jackson Hole, it was easy to guess that the market was going to react, based on what he said. Did you stay to trade that reaction? It became apparent early into the speech that we were not getting a repeat of the Hawkish comments made at Jackson, and as you no doubt know, the market moonshot higher, almost immediately and for the remainder of the day. I'd be interested in knowing your strategy around market moving (potential) events coming up at set times later in the day. Thanks, again.

Dear Andrew I will be honest with you, I think anyone that is looking for the real content of day trading, to learn and to emprove, is going to be watching your channel everyday, I do, because I really want to learn. in the pass I have followed other channels that has for sure more followers, but more followers in this case does not mean more value in the information probided, if you want to look at a good sample, just check SMB Capital, they are not as famous as other more sensationalist channels, but as what you guys are doing, the information is gold. so you have to chosse if you just want to be famous an sensationalist, or if you want to keep it real educational channel, the population of people that wants to look like if they know somenthing, is unbalanced with THE PEOPLE THAT FOR REAL WANTS TO KNOW ABOUT SOMETHING. For sure the choisse ir yours!
