Wow I can't believe it. I found my favorite Easter movie. Happy Anniversary Peter Cottontail. 48 years ago I was born in 1971. I had my first Easter when I was 1 years old in 1972. I remember when I turned 5 years old my mommy got bless her soul she have glass ball with Peter Cottontail and you wind up and would play Peter Cottontail hopping down Bunny Trail. And I still have till today. I never stopped believing in Easter Bunny.

Here it is Easter 2015, I'm almost 50, have 2 grandsons, and I STILL get a big kick out of Rankin and Bass shows! Their programs ( I can think of around 11 or 12 main ones) are timeless and even in this high tech world with all the CGI and 3D stuff, their old-school stop-motion animation is something children still enjoy. Imo, the only other person who comes to mind who has gotten anywhere close to R & B's quality of stop-motion animation story-telling is Tim Burton. Thanx for posting this wonderful visit down memory lane!

Hunny Beez I 2nd that!! I remember watching all of the R&B specials back in the late 60's, early 70's, and I think they mean more to me today. Brings back great memories of a simpler time . I think its cool how great these turned out for being made in the stone age!!

Magic, excitement, music, action, fantasy, thrills, and adventures. Here Comes Peter Cottontail, I love this beautiful Easter movie. That never gets old, it goes on forever and ever over the years of spring. For Easter, I believe in the Easter bunny that gives hope to everyone of the world. Easter is one of my favorite holidays of the year. Flower fairies are growing new plants and flowers in the forest, and the gardens. I never gave up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart because I still refuse to grow up, and forget about the precious things I knew, especially those from my childhood. I am like Peter Pan. My one and only wish is to keep the magic alive for all time. And I also wish to be a fairy to stay strong, childlike, young, and beautiful forever and ever like Tinker Bell. Believe in magic and never grow up 🐰🐇🐣🐤🐥💮🌻🥀🔮🌈🪄⭐🌟🌠✴🐦🍬🧺🧚🧚♂🧚♀

A fabulously entertaining way to teach children their holidays,in a sense, thanks to Peter's traveling in a cycle of all the holidays,(via the time machine),starting with Mother's Day and ending with (next) Easter. That's what I've always gotten out of it. This was always one of my favorite Easter TV specials, when I was little, I now even have my own copy of it,on DVD. When I was little,I swear I used to think Bonnie was a (Christmas) angel, since Peter finds her when he gets to Christmas,of course. And of course, she's actually a "long lost" Easter bonnet, from April Valley. Thanks for posting, and Happy Easter,to all KZbin users!
