Beard Straightening | Does it work on Black people ?

U did it absolutely WRONG; First thing: heated straightener doesn’t work well with oil ( smoke was coming from burned oil). Water is the best option to use. Secondly: you were trying to pull ur beard toward the empty parts near you mouth mostly rather than up and down , which is totally off point.

Wrong way to test a straightener : 1- Don’t use oil or any oily product before using heated straightener, instead try to moisture your beard with just water. Oil will be burned (smoke noticed) and eventually heat will coil the hair more. 2- Direction is crucial, u were trying to pull ur bear towards empty parts near mouth (Horizontally) , start from top and go down (Vertically) and repeat that over and over.
