I use a collagen supplement from a company called biotrust. It’s fantastic for speeding up hair and beard growth. It’s also a unique protein in that it can fuel not only muscle tissues but joint and bone structure as well

Beard is looking strong, sir! Can’t wait to see the final yeard, as well as the journey along the way. I’ve been taking collagen as of a month ago. I was told I should start to notice results within 2-3 months or so. I just see excess shedding during my morning routine. They say around 15-30 beard hairs a day and I was/am pushing that higher 30 or more a day. I can’t complain about a thin beard because it’s definitely a full beard all over. And I know it grows quicker than average as well! I was assuming that maybe due to the quicker growth, the hairs are just shedding at a higher rate as well. I figured I’d give it a shot and see where it takes my beard. I also take a daily multivitamin before bed. As every bearded man, I just want to see my beard’s fullest potential. Not excessively long, just medium-long but thick! I love that you rep Artius Man! Today I’m planning on Humidor or maybe Mountain Air. Great videos you’ve been posting. I dig the Docker caps on you! 💯

Hey Greg. Over here in Cape Town I take an effervescent supplement called ‘Voost’ - it contains both collagen and biotin. I’m not sure if it is helping my beard growth but my fingernails grow really quickly! Cheers, Matt

Your beard is looking great. Biotin will not grow hair in patchy places. I think the hair shaft is stronger but it’s because it’s still short. As your beard grows longer the as the hair grows farther from the shaft the hairs are thinner than at the shat area. You definitely have a beautiful thick beard. Your beard will most likely be thicker if you are sensitive to DHT. They way to tell is if you have male pattern baldness. Great video. Greg

Do you use anything for the grey? Over the last few years a lot of grey has came through in my own beard. Because over the years Ive went back and forth between a medium to long beard and trimming most of it off and growing it back again the hairs act differently, wirey, curling where as when I had a lot less grey I never had that so growing it out this time is a lot more of a struggle, messy etc and I just wondered if you had any tips?

I keep my beard conditioned and I use good oils, balms, and butters. I think that’s the key

I had a very thick, strong beard when I was 25. Now I am 28 and it has thinned out and gotten more patchy. Do you think it could be from vitamin deficiency? Or something else maybe? It’s been this way for almost a year now. Just kinda happened out of nowhere.
@GregBoswell4288 ай бұрын
Not really sure. Could be multi-factorial. Have you tried taking Biotin and/or collagen?

Could the difference in fullness and growth be due to more white hairs, not the supplements? That's something else that has changed with age. I've found my white hairs grow in thicker and faster than the brown and give an overall fuller look to my beard. I don't take biotin since I'm prone to skin rashes. Also, with a curly beard I find a blowdryer (on warm setting) is the only thing that will relax the hairs so that I can untangle it. No amount of products will help with that, and a little wooden comb doesn't work! I've been growing for over 7 months, the longest I've gone so far, and loving it. I guess my goal is to keep growing it and see how I like it month to month.
