Besides the absolute sex machine that is your beard, this video was actually pretty nice. Not only because it gave me a well needed tutorial on maintaining my own majestic mane, but because this was when I found out you had a wife and son. And he fact that you have the time to both build your Fallout 4 settlements (and run your channel in general, but mostly that) and care for an obviously loving wife and child is quite impressive. I was on the wrong side of town one time and these guys tried to mug me. One guy pulled out a knife and tried to slash my throat. The guys ran off when they saw that my beard not only guarded my throat, but that my awesome beard shredded the blade......true story...I kid you not...... Stay bearded my friends....

Do you use beard wax and beard balm at the same time, on the same days? I've never used beard wax but I've used beard balm and oil for a long time. I love the effect beard balm has on my beard but I still get a lot of those side hairs that like to stick out. I've been thinking of buying some beard wax but I'm not sure because I had a bad experience with mustache wax; I thought it was just to difficult to apply.

Nice video - about to invest in some wax. Been applying oil for last month now and its definitely softens the hairs. Quick question tho, at what length should I start applying wax? At the moment, only have a short beard (about 20mm at its longest), but due to my job (im an accountant) i like to keep it tidy for work. Will i still get benefit from using wax?

Joe White Start using it once the beard is long enough to get in your way. If you find yourself tugging on it or brushing it aside during the day, it's time to use some wax.

Wulfsmasher You can. Usually you choose either the oil or the balm, but you can use both if you want. If you use wax, just put the balm or oil down first, then the wax on top.

That's what I was planning do do, mix the balm and the wax, since while the oil does make a huge difference in how smooth the beard feels and looks, it's still a bit unruly to my liking, and the balm, and specially the wax seems to make it more even and easy to style. Even if it doesn't work as good as I think it will, I love trying new stuff on my mane, so it's no biggie :D
