Love seeing the kiddos in the videos. Great to see them learning about fishing , and you having them helping with everything. We all know it’s easier to just do it yourself, but love how you let them be their goofy fun selves. It makes the videos fun to watch. The family dynamic is awesome. Keep up the great work. I’m gonna get my grandkids to watch your videos. Thank you and keep on making videos!

When I keep a smaller flounder like that, sometimes I'll prep it like you described, and then cedar plank it like you do salmon. Remove the head, gut and scale, score him, season up with a good seasoning like Everglades, top with a few sliced lemons, and cedar plank him over indirect heat on the Weber Kettle. Cheers!

Stuffed flounder with stone crab stuffing is my favorite way to make flat fish but it's hard to get the crab claws. So I usually bread it with Italian bread crumbs and oan fry it with a little butter or olive oil. That's a good easy way to make lots of fish. Shake and Bake makes good breading too.

I measure my fishing rod from the top of the reel seat towards the bottom eye 12" and put a reflector tape there and that way I know what size fish I catch. Tape all your rods to what measurements you want and you don't have to always look for a tape measure. Just a helpful tip

A really good tape for measuring fish is a seamstress tape like they use for sewing. They're more than long enough and they roll up and fit in a small compartment of a tackle box. It's nice to see you catching flounder. I've been trying around VA Beach without any luck so far.

We always called pin fish "shiners" ... I love seeing all you guys who have kids fishing with them. My Dad used to go to Steinhatchee with some of his office workers before he started taking us kids (5) along with Mom to Carrabelle, Fl (late 1950's/early 1960's). Four of us kids LOVE fishing because of it.

That’s what this country is lacking, that’s why lot of kids get in trouble lack of parenting. Keep it up. Have a safe trip down south. God bless. Going to try Jetties tomorrow 7/14/2023, Hopefully it’ll be my first.

Great video, yeah I love taking my son fishing 🎣🎣, but when he gets in trouble, mama steps in and puts him to work inside the house, and me outside the house before he gets to go on the next trip with me, by then he really gets in his fishing zone, and catching everything, sometimes more than me, people say am teaching him well, he hasn't caught a keeper flounder like yours yet, but he's always ready for catch & cook,, and another thing is he always reminds me to stop 🛑 by the twice the ice machine on the way out, I think that's his favorite thing,,, Thanks for the Content,, Stay Safe God Bless,,,

Brad, Nothing wrong in correcting behavior that could become a problem...Hubby and I always set limits and boundaries for our two sons, cause we saw what happens when parents make excuses...the art of raising a child doesn't come with a handbook so I am proud to say that both of our sons are married, oldest is active military with 2 little boys and both are gainefully employed...Carry forward Carry On....
