Yo… the wait between stages sounds like a game changer. I’ll be adding that right away.
@shaun58673 жыл бұрын
Prior to this video I never knew to allow 1-2 minutes between leave in conditioner and applying beard oil. I would apply oil right away. Since waiting 1-2 minutes I feel a noticeable difference. Beard feels softer and hydrated all day. Just that small change has made a huge difference. Keep it up bro.

Excellent knowledge about not over drying your beard and leaving some moisture in there. This is crucial. I find that if I put my products on my wet beard they don't stay on the hairs and if it's too dry it doesn't distribute properly.. there is a sweet spot in the middle of sopping wet and dry. Basically your beard shouldn't be dripping with water but not dry either. Perfect advice especially for use with nappy beards. My biggest enemy is my hands. I can't stop playing in the chin area. I don't know why.. when I'm bored or anxious I play in my beard and have develop some breakage. Been growing a beard for a few years now and these are some things I do. 1. Only wash your beard with soap maybe 2 or 3 times a month or about once every 10 days. Overly wetting and washing ruins your bodies natural oils and doesn't allow your body to protect your beard (letting natural hair/body sit on hairs) whenever I wash my beard with soap it takes a few days for it to settle completely. 2. Never leave home without a comb. 3. Keep a spray bottle with water in it. Sometimes you need some moisture. 4. If your beard is really brittle than it's telling you that you need water and you are slightly dehydrated. Drink some water (beards are beautiful) 5. Try to avoid ridiculously hot showers. Humidity is public enemy for your beard. Warm is good and cool is best. You retain your natural oils when your showers are cool. Humidity over saturates with moisture than dries brittle. 6. Less is more. You really don't need too many products, just find 1 that works and smells good and use very little, it goes a long way. 7. After running/working out, rinse beard in warm to cold in shower. Use soap on it every 10days or some. Most times when your beard becomes unmanageable and difficult it's probably because it needs a wash or because you have applied too much products over a span of time and that have accumulated. 7. Dont cut your beard too much. Maybe once or twice a year you get a barber to shape it and take just some dead-ends off. 8. Pro tip: Grab a package of beard Nets (like they wear in food packaging plants) these can be worn after a shower for a few hours around the house if you are in a pitch and want your beard to look prestine. Let your beard dry inside the beard net and after you have applied your oils. It's like a Du-rag for your beard. 👍🏾 9. Comb the beard and use a brush to tame. Peace and love.

Great tips that aren't discussed much. I pull out less hairs if I wait a few minutes between applying beard oil and brushing my beard. I've also found that leaving wash-out conditioner for a few minutes before rinsing makes a noticeable difference.

This beard journey is crazy! I started out using the LOC then for whatever reason switched to the LCO. I have now switched back to LOC and I believe this is the best method for me. I do this morning and night, and my beard seems to stay more relaxed, way less curling and feels more conditioned.

That depends on your beard how does it feel with your current routine is it healthy? Can it be better? If your good with your current routine and your beard is healthy stick with it if you feel like your missing something out leave in hydration mist might be just what your looking for

@@BeardedExistence no doubt! One more question, is there such a thing as beard follicle stimulation cream/oil for beard growth?
@BeardedExistence3 жыл бұрын
There are both carrier and essential oils that have been said to stimulate hair growth. As long as it’s quality products most oils and butters have some of those ingredients included but most things that I see that advertises growth are just gimmicks to open your wallet🤷🏾♂️
