Really good way to clean any comb including wood is using a gentle soap (I use dr bronners peppermint soap diluted with water) and then soap it up on a soft toothbrush and work it into the teeth of the comb and all over. To rinse the comb off I just rinse off the toothbrush with water and clean off the soap on the comb with that so it’s not over watered, then dry the comb. This works very well for me but combs usually need this maintenance 1-2 times a week or they build up too much and become harder to clean especially if you use butters/balms etc. As always love the videos!! Edit- Also about Luxurious, it’s my number 1 oil alongside doctor nicks and mountaineer. These are my top 3 that have worked very well for my beard/skin but luxurious is #1. They use essential oils not fragrance, and he does have an unscented oil called ‘Natural’ if you wanted to try it with no scent. His scents are strong because of his essential oil blends, they’re very unique, has them all listed out on his website if you ever wanna peak.

For less than 10 bucks a wooden comb, I’ll just buy a new one every six months or so lol. How the heck does Luxurious Bastard have strong and long lasting scents with essential oils!?

Okay. Legitimate question. 1) What do you do when you are tempted to shave your beard off? 2) Why does this temptation happen? 3)What can I do to fight it off? Or do I just give in?

I’m a bad person to answer this because I DO shave it off when I want to. I just don’t want to anymore! lol. I think the tangles and hassle really build up and make me want to take it off. That being said, finding the joy in taking care of it has made me want to keep it!

@@BeardsBladesandHair I totally get that. I’m wanting to shave clean again. I always go back and forth. And I like using safety razors and shave soaps etc just like when you shave your high cheeks. It’s fun too.
