The music video concept is ambiguous, it represented a deja vu with olivia and the girl doing the same things, but it's also about she admiring the girl, comparing herself to her and actually copying her, but in the end she noticed the other girl was also looking at her, she was spying olivia in the beach, watching her through the televisions too, that's why olivia breaks it and we see the girl copying olivia driving the car in the end. So the video is also about how girls are always trying to be other girls, but at the same time we don't realize that we are not inferior, that in fact other girls want to be like us just as we want to be them, in conclusion: we should have self love

One of my favorite things about the song is when she talks about the other person having a "type," because while people do have preferences and those preferences are normal to have, there's nothing worse than feeling like someone dated you because you checked all their boxes rather than because of you as a unique human being.

So apparently Olivia uses the word “blonde” because it’s the opposite of what she is & is an imitation of her insecurities (like her original unreleased songs 21st century girls & never be like her) BUT after using it in Drivers License , fans speculated that the blonde girl was Sabrina Carpenter - since Sabrina was said to be dating Olivia’s ex. The fans went HARD on Sabrina , like accused her of breaking them up 😂 but instead of just clearing the air, Sabrina did the worst thing and actually made a response song (which she later said is for the haters but in my opinion, is 80% directed to Olivia). Anyway , I don’t think that Olivia will ever use the “blonde” reference again because Sabrina might write another song & use her for views again 😂
