I love that you felt the REALNESS of "No More Drama" - there was some talk of how it 'brought the mood down' or 'didn't fit the vibe'. . . but Dre specifically asked her to do it because of the climate, how we've all been going through things, and how tough the past 2 years have been mentally! It also made a GREAT transition to Kendrick doing "m.A.A.d city" & "Alright"!

You gotta laugh at the criticisms of the halftime show and where it originates from. The NFL is 70% Black. But somehow you see something wrong with having Black culture during the halftime show? Eminem was told he couldn't kneel (even tho it was to pay homage to Tupac), but he knelt anyway. Snoop was told that he couldn't have a blue bandana in his back pocket, so he wore an entire blue bandana outfit, crip walked, and threw up his set. Dre was told that he had to take out the negative references to police in his lyrics, but he left it in anyway. All of these artistic expressions reflect the reality of the Black experience in America, and I loved it. Note: Did you notice the whole floor was a MAP OF COMPTON???
@phyllisgarrison35612 жыл бұрын
YUP! That floor was genius, but So Fi Stadium was a star too because all of the lights around the stadium was coordinated, when Snoop came out in his bandana suit So Fi lights were blue.

Although they're rich as hell... I don't think their net worth combined is even near $13 billion ahaha, more like maybe 2-3 billion. I agree that this was the best superbowl performance of all-time though, but Prince was a close second. Beyonce's was really good too, I'd say top 5.
