yeah I get that I have a few people I know who think lil dicky is corny and cliche and they don't like his comedic style but i showed them this song and they really enjoyed it. As a lil dicky fan of 4 years I can without a shadow of a doubt say that this is my favorite song he has ever released

the look on ya'lls faces when it was done reminds me of how i felt when i first listened to this. i've heard his freestyles and his cypher from back in the day and knew he could rap. but this was the song that made him legit in my eyes. dude is sick and the worst part of it is he gets little to no credit for being an actual lyricist. compared to a bunch of these fake ass dudes in the game now, it's sad that he doesn't get the rec he deserves good vid and keep going down the rabbit hole. "the cypher" and "pillow talking" are a couple recommendations. keep grindin'

He weaves words while keeping a perfect coherent story about untapped potential and changing the landscape topped off with a perfect analogy of how he is laughed at by the "OGs, who were in it since kids" but with his talents "...made children of Men." But the thought of where he would be if he followed his original path never strays far from his thoughts. This is a straight up Masterpiece and Lil' Dicky, if there is any justice in the world, will go down as one of the greats.
