I just got my first beard trim in 6 months a few days ago for my years challenge and my barber fucked it up. He did the complete opposite of what I asked and cut wayyyyy too much off. He even touched my mustache, which is a weak point for me, when I told him I didn’t want that touched. All I wanted was to trim the little stray hairs off the side. Here I am 4 days later and I’m thinking about shaving completely and starting over. I’m pissed

What perfect timing. I was planning on doing a big trim in the morning. My beards about a foot long and I’m gonna take off 4-5 inches. I usually do it several times a year unless I get all froggy and go full wizard for a while. Watching that minor slip will help me tighten up my game and hopefully I can avoid the dreaded “oh sh1t” slip. I appreciate you leaving it in. I’ve got the same beard would run into the chest hair thing going on, guess if I just stopped trimming I might go full on Lorax. I use the Brio’s after I saw you try them out. Best trimmers ever (unless your going at the jewels then it’s time for the Lawnmower 3.0 trimmer game). Those Brio’s were a good find brother. Thanks for the quick refresher. Now go find yer Mama to hold that mirror she’s probably makin’ pancakes or putting a Supercharger on the Camaro.

Once my beard gets wet, it’ll dry up going in wild directions & swirls.... must heat brush straight in order for me to trim.

K G my natural beard doesn’t “relax”. Trust me when I say this method is not for everyone.
@acrevelations84574 жыл бұрын
@@AJCoReTV agree bro. My beard is about 6 inches long. Already chopped off 6 inches due to how unmanageable my beard gets. When I wash it it completely shrivels up and curls to where my beard looks like it's an inch long. I have to blow dry and use a straightener before I do anything with it....trims included
@RyanMatson4 жыл бұрын
K G exactly,..... but you’re wrong. You don’t want to trim your beard in its natural state when you obviously want to style it with butter or balm. So that’s why you fucking trim WITH PRODUCT. lol it’s so simple my guy. Sounds like you need to head over to Dan C’s page.

A couple years ago when I'd go to Trim up my facial hair if I messed it up I'd keep chasing mistake trying to fix it and at the end I'd just trim my facial hair off and start over. JUST STOP Is some of the best advice you could give now if I make a mistake I just leave it alone and withing a day or two you cant tell anyways it takes alot to just leave it but it's the best thing to do

You shouldn't use trimmers on your cheek line, specifically for reasons like that. Stick to a razor and take your time. A lot of people use a straight razor but to me it seems like a waste of money. I just use the single blade on the back side of my Gillette razor and it works just fine. I LOVE my Beardscape trimmer though, definitely worth the money!
@carefreetraveler22804 жыл бұрын
My number one beard hack that has kept me from messing up my line for the last 2 years is a TWEEZER!!! go to the barbers and get yourself lined up exactly how you want. Then NEVER use a razor or trimmer and just tweeze the hair that grows above your line. You will never mess up your line. Tweezing pulls it out by the root and keeps it from growing out faster. Just go at it every couple of days. If you have an issue with keeping that line straight like I used to do then this may be a game changer for you.

Love the video bro!! You’ve got a new subscriber!! Question how long have you been growing your beard? I’ve been growing mine for 3 months now & it’s slowly very slowly looking fuller. I noticed some hairs are falling from the neck part but not the cheeks. I can still see my skin from my cheeks & it’s taking forever to get dark but I’m staying patient & even though my family members are saying “it looks like Pubic hairs” I’m still keeping up with it. I’ll show them!! I’ll be getting a full beard like yours soon!! All about patients right? 🧔🏻

Oh yes, I tried to shorten my beard since daughter ripped off a handful of beard right in the middle, had a little slip and then over corrected one side, then had to try to fix the other and now I have only about 2cm of beard and it is growing really funky so I am going to shave it all off tonight. But truth to be told I was in a bit of a dark place towards the end of last year and let my beard get dry and not healthy so it is for the best I feel. Remember guys, if you start to look like a hobo and that is not intended look for you, you most likely have issues that needs to be taken care of. Beard indicator of mental health, I call it.

@michaelharmon13684 жыл бұрын
Take a 1 guard with the lever in the open position so lever furthest away from you makes it longer and go with the grain of the mustache... if you want shorter then that go against the grain and if you want shorter than that length then close the lever all the way and go with the grain and so on

I wanted a shaped beard but i just mess it up and no way am I going to a barber, $65 plus a tip and sit in a chair and listen to dip shits run there mouth for 2 hours, which the job should only take 10 to 15 tops. Dumb barbers running around clapping thier hands laughing talking about sports then demand a tip.
