I've had the same experience with the skull shaver. It worked alright until the battery gave out after just over a year. I think I paid $200 for the platinum one. Then I got a Remington balder pro for $80 on Amazon and it's still kicking over three years later. Less battery capacity, but it seems to be a quality battery. It seems like the blades stay sharp for longer too. I'll definitely try out the brio when my lawn mower kicks the bucket.

My piece of sh*t philips trimmer lasted 5 years maybe. Then it helt up for another 4 years while being plugged in.. Then one very hot day i tried grooming my dog by cutting his fur a bit with scissors.. That took for ever so i thought, yolo, ill use my trimmer and then buy a new one. The trimmer died shaving my dogs ass.. Honorable death after such a long service. Then i got a manscaped whatever version. It lasted 3 years before it just decided to die. It did still turn on though.. if you can count that as working.. considering it would not power on when i wanted, instead the fking thing would turn on at 3AM for no reason on some occasions... Absolute garbage considering the price.. And i think i bought my crappy philips trimmer for like 40 bucks back then..

I'm just forced to buy the manscaped. I can't find alternatives. My criteria: USB-C charge, travel lock, shaves both short hair, short beard and bodyhair. That's it. The small size is a bonus too. I would go for the Brio V2, but it doesn't charge with USB-C. I want this trimmer for traveling. Saving as much space as possible.

I have been using the Meridian Trimmer for personal use and so far so good. I just like it because it is water proof and if I drop it in the shower I dont have to worry about it getting wet. I dry trim with it in the shower so it is easy to just sweep up the hair. At the price point it was, it was right for me at the time.

Welp i already bought the lawnmower 5.0 super package. It was 20% off for the whole bundle and my old trimmer has passed it's prime. For $110 i got shampoo, deodorant, ball lotion, aftershave, nose hair trimmer and body hair trimmer. I think it was a worthwhile purchase since I needed everything. You know that the shaver itself is equivalent to a roughly $50 shaver right? The other stuff they throw in there just adds to the cost (Overpriced cost btw) of $110. I have Manscaped 5.0, and I love it's standard 4.0 razor, but foil shaver is absolute garbage. With standard razor I didn't have any injuries or discomfort, but with foil I had 2 injuries in one session. Those side razors are pretty bad, the one that on outer side is definitely doing more harm than good, its VERY uncomfortable to use foil shaver because of it, other one could be useful if it wont be heated so fast and if it would be safer. I really don't understand why they added razor to foil shaver, even two of them, just having foil shaver alone would be nice. Trying to figure out how to remove them without destroying foil shaver.

I bought a lawnmower 5.0 last Thanksgiving. It's already dead. I was shocked to see the warranty was only 90 days. Joke is on me though as I had bought the 1.0 version. It died in a few months, they sent me a second which also died in about a year. Now the 5.0 is dead is less than 6. These are junk. Don't buy them.

it all depends on what your looking for...i like zero hair so trimmers are shit for me its like using a facial trimmer when your just gonna run a a triple blade over your face so the trimmer is useless...when it comes to my manscaping i keep zero hair so i shave it all off...and my ultimate weapon to keeping fast cuts and zero issues its the schick hydra razors cuz i just shave that crap off in the shower ....to stay clean...i have zero use for a trimmer when i just shave it all off quickly...but getting the right razer is tricky...shcick hydra is the way to go for full zero scrub...it has small bars to keep the blades from nicking your skin...and you can be drunk manscaping and run that blade up your shaft without worrying about it cutting or kicking up your junk...and you will still be smoothed in the moring shick hydra is the way to go if your gonna go junk bald...and yes i use it in the shower..

Thanks and for me am a busy guy... Depends how you are.. But one razor I don't remember the name. But the handle is plastic blue. Two smooth guard things the outer side of the razor. And 2 razors things to shave.. You may ask have a nicked myself not at all. And mind you I grow it out for like almost a month.. Don't have time. Busy or am either sleeping. But for me the trimmer are useful to just cut all that hair out. Then I go with the shaver. And if you want to even cut the razors into more life ... That's if from this point you are OK with learning how to use a actual straight razor that barbers use. Only for the top part and the sides... And the razor that you use you can use it for down under. And get a but more life out of your one razor... And the blades am talking about are 6-7 bucks.. For 100 blades. And yes the ones that are great and sharp. And if you want to go further... If you down to get to business with your female... Then get yourself a braun series 9.. Well be the smoothest feeling ever. And also last you over a yr since you pretty much just want to get rid of very tiny hairs left that you can't see with your eyes ... May sound like alot. But if wanting to be clean shaven all yr around... Then the braun series 9 well be used around the clock. Once you just use the razor one in a while..

In advance sorry bout the TMI BUT PEOPLE SHOULD know the situations that could occur..The instructions that come with the 5.0 says it's not waterproof,my heart sank,I'm like that's what I bought it for since it's easier to get rid of excess hair,in the shower..also since it's a sensitive area,groin,balls,or fatty area,me as a heavy guy,if I try those areas,it's very hard to see it ,cause I can't see it by looking down, but I try to be as careful as possible,but sometimes I actually with manscaper end up bleeding in fatty areas try to get rid of hair,I don't use it on the actual ball because tried it 1 time and cut it so bad that I couldn't use hot water or any other things that would touch it,it burns

The last tooth thats metal caught my skin somehow. Sucked. Even though i hate my manscape i still only use it below the waist bc no injuries. But it does snag hair a lot. 3:33 yes the side trimmers I think are a terrible feature. I always pinch my skin while using this shaver head and I’m not really sure the best way to go about using this because you typically have to press these against the area that you want to have a clean shave yet the side trimmers, don’t move well with the foil area in my opinion

A lot of the Manscaped products are exactly like the Profoto camera flash products.... extremely well marketed, but compared to some other brands that don't have quite so much well branded marketing, is sub par. Exacerbated by the fact that like Profoto, Manscaped spends most of their cash giving free shit to KZbin Content Creators to plug their products lol. Just went to Amazon to look at the manscaped and Amazon is doing the 20% off is your subscribe and save but they require you to not cancel it in order to receive the discount(for the 4.0 version) and besides the marketing issues with manscaped there’s not much cons that really make it that bad but I don’t care about battery life or length of the trimmer or the speed of the trimmer especially if I’m just shaving my balls with it because I don’t want to use my regular cheap razor on my balls that I use for my face

Got my mower 2.0 back in 2017, 2018, when their advertisement started to really take flight. Still use it today but the battery is completely done for. Won't even last 5-10 minutes, but I was happy with how many years I got from it. 7 Yeats, and I only had to replace the ceramic blade once. Great beginner buzzer imo. Depending on where you live you have by law longer warranty than the producer offers. And if the producer is selling themselves to a country with more generous warranty/guarantee they have to abide by those laws. Since Manscaped sells to European Union directly. Guarantee is 2 years by default from the day of delivery. Not 90 days. "The legal guarantee is valid for a period of 2 years throughout the EU and covers any defects that existed at the time of delivery and which become apparent within a period of 2 years. If the defect becomes apparent within 1 year of delivery, you don't have to prove that it existed at the time of delivery."

The only qualm I have with this review was your first point. My wife had to train me to read because I for sure suffered from just clicking, buying, and then wondering what went wrong later for instances like being charged in perpetuity. Still have the original Brio have had it for a few years now and its still great, if I was to put it in the box and give it as a gift you'd think it was a brand new product, the blade is the same practically no difference since I bought it (I don't understand how...), battery is insane I charged it ONCE since I bought it years ago etc, its just a great product, its literally perfect, I saw the new version they released and its pretty similar to the last with slight differences, its hard to improve something that's already perfect.

So my 3.0 broke and I upgraded to the 5.0 and it was absolutely horrid such a waste of money. It pulls at the hairs and doesn’t give a close trim at all

Not mentioned: 5.0 has USB-C port directly on it, vs. stupid dock (on both 4.0 and that Brio). Also charges via Qi wireless. If you're using it as a travel product, this means much smaller in bag (since you have a USB-C charger already).

I looked up some videos bc I bought the manscaped trimmer and I was shaving the pits bc why not and I made the grave mistake of using that foil shaver attachment……… don’t do it, my pits are burning when I put on deodorant dude
