This makes regular DJ types look like plebs....as well as many producers. Some folk, including myself take hours to make sounds and songs, that he does in seconds. Sense of humour is lacking in many artists. This bloke has the lot. We need more actual talent like this on screens, instead of the processed cheese slices that we are mostly offered. Big up the Beardy one.

beardyman Well tha 24 bit 96kHz Wave is always better but it's up to KZbin not you ;] mp3 320 kbps is max here, unfortunately... Your music deserves better! Tha Beardytron deserves better! If you could release your next LP in mastering quality (24 bit, 96kHz, stereo Wave) man that would be awesome ;]

+MrGreenAKAguci00 I know you posted this a year ago but redbook standard for an audio cd is 16bit, 44.1khz. It works on the nyquist theorum, that you double the range of whatever you're sampling (human hearing for example, is 20hz-20khz), meaning you have enough room to accomodate the peaks and troughs in this range (as 44.1khz/2 = 0-22.05khz). 96khz would accomodate up to 48khz of frequency spectrum, which unless you're batman won't really do much difference. DVD's on the other hand, are usually 48khz and 24bit, but this isn't really for the higher frequencies, mainly it just allows for a higher range of dynamics to be recorded. Some purists say 96khz/128bit is better, but it's a load of bollox really.
@MrGreenAKAguci009 жыл бұрын
+Robin Figg 16bit can't contain all dynamics it has 96dB range 24bit has almost 150dB and can cover pretty much whole range even of symphonic orchestra. Now most recordings in studios is done in 24bits and than mastered to 16bits with added dithering so CD could contain it. Bigger sampling frequency on the other hand doesn't only mean you can catch more spectrum but also that the steps are smaller. Cause if we would view digital recording on a XY axis it's not a wave like analog one (unless it's DSD) but it's in steps where on Y axis we can measure how loud it is with bits and the sampling frequency represents how often the measurement is done by A/D converter while recording or D/A converter while playing it back. So it also is kind of like fps in movie theoretically 24/25 fps is enough to capture movement but somehow there are even 60fps games and movies going on now cause it's more detailed? and closer to reality? also I most likely can't hear above 15kHz but i still can feel it and those high frequencies are also important in representing the direction where the sound comes from. Why Focal has 50kHz beryllium tweeters? we can't hear above 15/16 Khz but i found out it was easier for me to work out the pan on those monitors than for example eve audio that goes only up to 22kHz and my friend was switching them for me so only my ears could give me clues. Also if my FiiO X5 mk1 can support 24bit 192kHz Wave why wouldn't I use that, right?
