I read NIGHT years ago . Elie Wiesel gave all of us a horrific portrait of one of the greatest crimes against humanity. He spent his life bearing witness to the evil . He said to NEVER FORGET so it never happens again. Every generation needs to learn about and keep hate from taking over because it CAN HAPPEN AGAIN.

What’s even scarier is that genocide is happening right now. I don’t know where, but it’s happening for sure.

I agree! While listening to this here, a tear came to my eye as people have forgotten or rather, certain people want this to happen agaín... the very same families as made Holocaust happen... They do not want to learn and, the reason for my tear today is the sad knowledge that these people love this. Love to hurt and destroy other people and, they kill "for the fun of it" and, my brain cannot fathom so much pure evil 😪😪😪 Thanks for sharing dear Holocaust survivers... Your strength is beyond admirable 😀

@@Jetmab04 What beautiful comments. Everything you say is truth. The world is now planning another Holocaust. This will be the end of life as we know it. My prayer is Jesus comes soon for those who trust and believe in Him. There are still good people here and YOU are one of them. ❤❤🙏

@@Hope-qi4bf Thanks so much - I try to do only the good to everyone. As I am sure you will know when I tell you I was unfortunately born among the people who started the Holocaust, committed the horrible Genocide in Ukraine etc, etc, you will know, I am hated in the utmost extreme these days. Thankfully left many years ago but, am off course sentenced to death over there.. My crime: I am alive! My grandmother was in 2 of the nazi camps during WW2, Magdeburg and Dresden.. She survived and, thankfully I am here today. My grandfather was one of the nazi's who made (raped) the poor people we have come to know as the 'lebensborn' and, he worked directly for Hitler.. I never knew any of my grandparents. So, so sad to experience what now happens - I cannot find any proper words 😪 Thanks so much for you're kind words 💕

I still remember the first time I read his book and it absolutely floored me I remember reading it and being absolutely sick to my stomach from the horrors he endured. Elie is an absolute wonderful human being and I know he is resting in peace free from the horrors of his time here on earth. For us who are here we must preserve this history and his story and make sure something like this NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!!

Ive just finished this book in class. Every chapter I had to look back and realize this was not fiction, it was reality. Really brings light to what most history books don’t go in depth on.

The Holocaust was not just a genocide of Jews. Millions of others that were exterminated, including my Romani relatives. Having said that, when I read Night I took it as a testament to all who were interred and massacred in Germany, Stalinist Russia, Poland and other places where death camps were set up. I had hoped it would never be repeated, but it continues.

I read this book in high school and felt compelled to purchase it for my own collection. I finished it in a matter of hours. The pain I felt reading it. The brutality of it all. May he and all those killed in the holocaust find peace in the next stage.
