Badass bow Steve! You're looking great after surgery. ❤

I brought the $200 ILF you showed. That initial crack is the limbs not fully seated up in the riser, as soon as I made sure the limbs were full seated (pushed into the riser) before stringing it I have not heard it again.

I was in the Bearpaw Shop 8 days ago to possibly buy the Shadow bow. There I also saw the new Mohawk ILF Riser and tried it out in combination with the Shadow ILF Limbs. And yes the Mohawk is almost €200 more expensive than the Shadow Riser but it's worth it too. I shot both bows alternately and it was immediately clear to me that I would take the Mohawk with me... 650 € 😳 but so cool yey ☺️😁

For the limb bolts isn't the riser instruction manual supposed to say the max number of turns to unscrew? Like the olimpic risers.

Easy solution: when i get a new riser i unscrew the limb bolts and check how much thread length there is. Don't unscrew more than one third of the thread length is a good rule of thumb. Count how many threads this length is and you're good to go.

Not sure if there is echo - but to me this bow doesn't seem to be quiet.... I heard clearly snapy sound before arrow landed in the target.

“That’s you being an idiot” 😂 I rather offend an idiot AND LOSE a customer than waste my TIME AND MONEY servicing a User Error. $5.00 profit from a $200 sales is NOT WORTH the hassle

With a few rather cheap bows you can't use outside the recommended brace height and a few high end fast performance bows do they say never use outside the recommended brace height.

The reason ILF became a need on hunting bows is for archers at 3D competitions and should a limb get damaged or break, a replacement can be found easier then the standard flat limbs where at best a brand had all limbs fit the same. Before the move, the archers were using the smaller ILF bows like a 23 inch target riser and cutting back by about 3--4 pounds on the draw in 3D mainly in Europe becuse the standard one piece of flat limb takedown bow was harder to be found due to hunting not really a thing there.
