Jaylon Johnson is a damn good player, I hope he endorses the mentality that this season they stop talking and "Do". Until they start making the playoffs on a regular basis, they have a culture of losing; period. They need to show up on Sunday focused and ready to perform...and leaders need to step up and hold their teammates accountable when they are not locked in. Win each play. Off the ball? Sell your route. Make your block. Pursue on Defense until you hear the whistle. They gotta be better than just "fundamentals".

BJ, ahem, hasn't HC at ANY level including Pop Warner. He's over-rated by being in the right place with a loaded Lions team even 2 years before he came. Bears offense ain't Lions. IF Bears are lucky, they won't be emBEARassed next year with bad coaching gaffes and key injuries yet, sadly, there's TOO many holes on D and O-lines with NO depth! They'll finish 6 - 11. Maybe ALL these great, brilliant new coaches can suit up and play while the players coach!

As a long time Bear fan, to be honest, Jaylon Johnson did not impress. Why doesn't he cover the #1 WR from the opposing team? He even confirmed it pertaining to Justin Jefferson. When asked he said "when looking at the film..." He played the Vikings twice! He should have covered Jefferson 50 times! Funny though how he was getting burned by Addison! And a lot of the time against other teams mostly covering the #2 and #3 WR's! COVER THE #1 WR EVERY DOWN AGAINST EVERY OPPONENT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!

@kanekik4139 I thought about that. Just don't believe Johnson was fighting to cover the #1 WR. Even during any game there just comes a time when he has to say "let me get him or I got him." After all the stuff he said before last season started and all the hype around him being a "shut down DB." We have yet to see it. Pro Bowl...😄 not if he would have played each #1 WR from each team we played.

The scheme Eberflus used didn’t allow Jaylon to shadow much and we mainly played zone anyways. But jj had the 3rd highest coverage grade this year.

While Stevenson is getting smoked on every passing conversion and score. JJ has the 3rd highest coverage grade against the #2 and #3 WR's. He should have openly demanded the coverage.
