I see where you're coming from, but you also have to consider that the QB and WR didn’t start connecting until after Shane was fired. The offensive coordinator failed to design effective schemes for our receivers, leading to repetitive routes and a lack of separation-that’s not on Allen. I’d bring him back on a team-friendly deal unless we sign Hollywood Brown as our WR3.

You definitely make a good point, but Allen is going to command a hefty salary and IMO we have more urgent things to do with that money….

No to Allen. Bears need to focus on building the trenches. Allen is old and injury prone. We already have Moore and Odunze. We invested the 9th overall pick on Odunze and Allen stunts his growth.

Do you think Caleb will switch back to number 13 if Allen walks ? & I know most people want the Bears to draft offense to protect Caleb don't get me wrong number one priority yes , but what are the chances if the Bears get that guy princely from Penn State

I’m sure I thought Caleb said he would not change numbers regardless…..guess we’ll find out. Also Princely is from Ole Miss not Penn State and we could draft him in the 2nd round if he’s available…..
