The depressing thing for Bears fans is that Jordan Love was not throwing to Davante Adams, Cobb or any veteran WR. He was throwing to rookies and 2nd year guys that nobody have ever heard of, and he still had 32 TD and 4000 plus yards. It's all about coaching and culture, not just talents

The sad reality is a 2021 Nagy run offense with Fields at QB played better against an Aaron Roger’s lead Packers team. He has done horrendous against Packer’s 2022,2023, I blame that on former Green Bay QB coach Luke Getsy for his play calling.

Bears failed yet another QB, and no one is responsible but that QB again. This organization never learns, and will never learn. It’s absolutely pathetic how every single team identifies how to help their players, either by coaching, other players, development. Except this team, which is why there has never been a 30TD passer or 4k. But yes it’s always the QBs fault, continue this line of thinking bears fans.

Both sides of the ball looked passive, sluggish and soft. The game plan on both sides was uninspired and anemic. Tevan Jenkins had his worst game of the year. Nate Davis has been disappointing. Braxton Jones isn't good enough. We know there's no good enough center on this roster. The defense had no explosion and lost the line of scrimmage consistently. It's astounding how much this game looked like the first game. This coaching staff doesn't need to stay Fields continues not to be the problem. Given everything this team needs, trading that first pick makes the most sense

Bears need an offensive guru who can actually coach! Matt Lefleur is a better offensive playcaller than Getsy / Eberflues. But Justin was getting better at the end of the season. He fell apart yesterday but the whole game scheme was not as good.

Love Justin the human being. However, let this sink in as Justin the QB. In 358 pass attempts. Desmond Ridder has 2548 passing yards. In 354 pass attempts, Justin Fields has 2414 passing yards. Case closed. Draft another QB with the first pick.

I get that the bears beat the falcons and all but you do realize the falcons have a more talented roster from top to bottom than the bears right? You want to take a wild guess why their season went down the drain? Coaching and qb play to the point where ridder and heineike were losing a lot of games for the falcons. Fields didn’t lose the bears as many games as the falcons qbs did.
@piteusx8440
@piteusx8440 9 ай бұрын
@G_hargrove251 They do? Why are you so sure? On offense, the Bears gave DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, and Herbert. The Falcons have Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Robinson. The OLs are similiar. Many would say the Bears D played better than ATL's D in the 2nd half of the season. Note: Smith ran Atlanta's offense. He's not very good either ... and Ridder still had more passing yards than Justin with almost the same number of attempts. We need to stop making excuses for Justin. Justin is a great human being. He's Desmond Ridder as a passer.

@@piteusx8440 I’m positive. the falcons oline is better than the bears. Don’t you ever compare Herbert to bijan ever again lol. London and Pitts would definitely have better production with Fields throwing them the ball and you can tell by dj moore’s production. Ridder/heineike combined for 17 tds and 16 ints with a more talented roster. Again, nobody’s making excuses for Fields. People like you need to realize the good teams actually provide good situations for their young qbs, not put them in a full rebuilds. Which is why Arthur smith got fired and flus probably keeps his job because the falcons had a playoff roster and picked to win their division while the bears were picked last in theirs. It’s because of the teams, not the qb

@@G_hargrove251Are you comparing London and Pitts to Moore and Kmet? LOL. Stop making excuses for Justin. Why are you so sure the Falcons OL is better than the Bears? Check how many times Tyson Bagent was sacked ... and I'm no Bagent fan. The numbers don't lie. All your points are subjective. Everyone likes Justin. However, Justin is Desmond Ridder as a passer. Ridder also had a crappy coaching staff. He's also in his 2nd year ... Justin is in his 3rd. Smith was also in his 3rd year whereas Flus was in his 2nd. That might be another reason Flus is staying. Regardless, Smith and Getsy both suck at calling plays and yet Ridder threw for more passing yards than Fields with the same number of attempts. That's the point. You can't spin facts. No one wanted to see Juatin succeed more than me. He's a great kid. However, the numbers don't lie. Making decisions through emotions is usually never good. You need to be objective. You're just making excuses for Justin.

This game was a brutal statement of how poorly run one organization is compared to the other. With the exception of the lucky first pick this season has been an under-achieving disaster orchestrated by Ryan Poles. $200 M spent in signings, should have a 9 - 11 win season. Poles did nothing for the offense...but for DJ. Fire Poles, too.

Fields is not going to be Jackson, one of the first 2 QBs taken will be comparable to Lawrance and in 2 years Fields is likely to be comparable to Mayfield vs Lawrance who is probably 10 on the QB list but Mayfield likely will be 15-20. Fields has been given the 3 Trubisky years, has not accomplished as much and passing has little more promise than him, this management will never have QB choice again unless they take one in a Picket year. The Packers have a diverse ownership and permanent people drawing a Packer paycheck who switch out coaches and QBs before their time, there are probably a small group of influences that steer the GM on these issues. This large group have children, cousins, etc who grow up Packer nuts and go into sports majors in collage, are on staff or management of NFL or collage teams, and have insight into QBs and coaches. QB accuracy and the stats are easy to see, the dedication, looking over the field calmly, finding the right guy with the right timing are not, I think the Packers coaches or insiders have better information. They would have someone who could get Harbaugh feedback and pre-planning before the sham search, even though he was drafted by the Bears I suspect Bears management has little to no communication with him over the year and there is no back door.

I'm out on Justin he just cant make plays in 4th he's so inconsistent his throwing motion is so awkward and slow our offense has to be crippled and simplified for him to understand and see the Field again threw for under 200yds also he had only 5 no turnover games in 3 years let that sink in I thinks it's clearly draft Caleb Justin is horrible

Outside of DJ Moore (a mid number 1) who’s always facing double coverage he’s throwing to guys who have the lowest separation in the NFL and wouldn’t make another roster. What do you want him to do? You want to take Caleb and put him the same situation? Do you think he maybe looked as good as he did because he played the dejected defenses of the Big 12 and PAC 12?

Every time the Bears were in a situation where they HAD to PASS, the offensive line turned into a sieve. They just were not able to hold up. He had instant pressure and no one open. Today showed a team that had weapons and offensive linemen vs a team in year two of a rebuild that showed progress. Once Lucas Patrick was out I knew they were in trouble because Feeney, nor Whitehair can snap the ball…
