It’s not paper, it’s interlining/stabilizer, which was ironed onto the fabric, in order to strengthen the fabric.

For using 20cm long zipper, please cut 2 pieces of 23cm wide 19cm height for both outer and inner fabric (attach the zipper at 23cm side) Strap: 8cm wide and 20 cm long (or longer if you wish)
