How does he use whammy without his foot?

The guitar is 100% live so I assume that: A) there could be a guitar tech using it for him offstage. B) Other option (maybe more likely) it is that maybe the effect is completely automatized. I also noticed the guitar is boosted in some parts but Matt doesn’t seem to be using his foot at all for a boost pedal

@@beasis I think you are right about automation. If you notice at the start, there is no count off but they start at the same time, so probably an in-ear click. Would make it easy to setup all the guitar effects, lights, etc on automation

They should not use this double bass pedal (I heard the drummer was pushed to use it). Drumming is much more original without these standard metal bass drums patterns (heard a million times, boring). The drummer is one of my absolute favorite drummers, he really does not need cliche metal tools.
