You can fit a small box beside your tc behind the vending machine for all your boom. Place the tc flush against one wall and the small box beside it, then place the door frame. You can lock the small box and now you have tc and loot behind vending machine

ATTENTION CONSOLE PLAYERS: Note that the steps placed at 27:32 DO NOT work on console, instead I recommend placing a raised ramp. This will function similar to steps, but will also tighten up the pixel peak as well.

Also do the honey comb at 22:23 before doing the ramps in the airlock at 22:00 . The ramps will block the foundation placement. Unless this is just a problem on my end.

For almost a year, I couldn't play Rust properly anymore, because I suck at construction. Brother, this base is really good. They raided me even though I couldn't finish my base, but they couldn't completely capture my base because there was an automaton in front of the TC. Leave some space when placing the vending machine, when you rotate the vending machine there will be space in between, then you can reach the TC. Finally, place an armored door between the vending machine and the TC; Reaching TC will become more difficult. thanks faded :)

hey Faded, i tested your new beast for a wipe and i found out a few things. First the two walls below the stacked floor (where you have to use the vanilla skin) is just a single wall right into the opencore and if the raiders are lucky, direcly down to the bunker. Secondly you also can not replace those walls as long as the stacked floor is above them (i had to blow that floor away so i can seal after the raid). I will modify it more next wipe, but maybe i'll find more odd things about it. I will also rotate the compound design by 90° since leaving the base is quite the hassle when you always have to go through a 1/4th of your compound

I did some minor upgrades to make it even stronger! I seperated the beds from the other triangles with half walls, garage door on top and ladder hatch over the triangles. Also - I suggest upgrading the stone walls (third layer to tc) to metal, otherwise it's very cheap to raid thru there compared to door/roof path.

I'm so glad there's a V2 I've used this base on modded 3x servers and it's survived raids multiple times. Even an attempted off line. They didn't make it past the bunkered core. One time and offline worked but it's because I left the ceilings above core stone, make sure to upgrade that to hqm 😂

This Base is legit perfect with an open core, good roof access and bedrooms along with 2 panic rooms, the only thing I wish we could have brought along from v1 was the shooting floor on the third layer which was eally good to defend from, along with taking heli, you earned a sub faded!

To raid it like you described they would need to go through all the roof turrets, hqm floor, then at least three doors including shotguns traps, + hqm bunker, and after getting through the bunker you would be left with a vending machine bunker and a door to your core loot. that's even more boom than going through the side so I don't know what you described here meaning by two doors but I'm guessing the base was not finished at all and you had no turrets

On phase 4 the gaps where you plave a square floor and it over laps the triangle honey comb. I upgraded the door frames below to sheet and it still won't let me place the floor it's right above tier 3 placement

uh, another beast. I've used the beast template quite a lot recently, ofc heavily modified to fit my needs. Maybe i'll try that one out too :D Since i am a big fan of conveyors and stuff i usually have a little slot somewhere between my boxes and the outside (ofc offset so nothing can reach inside) to reach large furnaces and refineries and i think i can make that happen on this build as well.

I haven't checked out the build just yet but it's worth noting the previous version of this was sort of pay to win in that it required the brutalist skin in order for the roof tiles not to block the entrance to the base in an inconvenient way, block placement of some deployables in the entryway, and block the building of the stairs on the roof. I don't know if this is still the case since I haven't yet tried building it, but it's worth mentioning provisionally since that wasn't noted in the video for the first version of this base, that I could tell.

If you get raided and lose your main TC you will not be able to place another TC in your core due to externals.. If you disconnect them (using a ramp) then you can place your main TC back and reconnect your externals!

Something neat other then this godness, is that you put a blueprint picture above the base with out all Walls etc only the ground twigs in your preview of base. So when we serch for a location, we can build it Quick with your blueprint on how big location we need.

The second phase is so diffrent like whole new design from first version😅 i won nearly every online raid except one in a 5x when my base was full metal and got bombarded by a high qual base bigger than it and 3 team💀 after seeing this i let the base be and 1hour later they where still raiding and even though the base was unrecognizable i somehow repaired while the teams where fighting and 2attack helis bombarding. This was last hours of wipe and these guys infact raided me before and came back when i sealed💀
