Really really cool. I like seeing this type of conversion, definitely 11 out of 10! Me personally, I would have kept an older looking wheel, to keep the street sleeper looked locked in, but still well executed.

I was going to say the same about the older looking wheels but realised it wouldn’t have been possible because of the chassis, break callipers, suspension and etc that came from a new car…the wheels wouldn’t have fit.

I love all the modern under the hood, suspension and brakes-but the thing that gives these old Benz’s their character is the interior, most resto mods try to keep most of the instruments (even if it is a modern interpretation of the original) as close to stock as possible.
