What’s rather interesting about baluar is that it’s actually technically a type of unique bird, that could glide but not fly, and evolved on Hateg island. (And yes, it only had two fingers)
@superscaryguy015 жыл бұрын
Funny thing about Balaur bondoc is that it was recently discovered that it wasn't even a true dromaeosaurid. It was probably an omnivorous, flightless avialan, and the enlarged double-sickles on its feet were likely used for climbing rather than hunting.

Apparently the fossil of Balaur indicate that it may have have a rudimentary third finger, hence why the hands look so weird.

I remember hearing about these. They look really nice. I actually like the idea of feathered dromaeosaurs and other therapods.

What’s cool is that balaur bondoc was classified as a dromaeosaur then changed to a bird. That shows how birdlike dromaeosaurs were

The Jurassic Park raptors are exaggerated in their size for scare purposes. In reality their approximately 4ft tall as opposed to 6ft tall. The actual species that the Jurassic Park raptors represent are called Deinonychus, but because this was to hard for people to remember and pronounce they went with Velociraptor which sounds cooler and rolls off the old tongue nicely.

No you're wrong not directing traffic it supposed to be mating I think because that's why feathered dinosaurs have feathers sometimes they need to be colorful and bright so they can attract a mate

The feathers for raptors are thought to be used for warmth, for males to show off to da ladies, and some raptors used their feathers to glide.
