Primal's upgrades were consistent at least he was always a Gorilla. Megatron was always A T-Rex until the third one where he becomes a dragon...I guess it's cause they're still reptiles?

We need to just take a moment to acknowledge the fact that despite how poorly Megatron mistreated all his subordinates, and how little he valued them, there was only one he favored: Dinobot. He cloned him twice; in using half of the spark of his warlord, Rampage (the protoform X who posed the biggest threat to Megatron during The Beast Wars--why cut out that half and put it in Dinobot?) and gave him a life of his own. In doing so, while testing Transmetal 2 technology, he upgraded him. Megatron trusted Dinobot enough to "keep Rampage in line" whenever Rampage started acting up, out of all his minions. Dinobot never got reprimanded for failures. Megatron even proposed to make him sub commander of the Predacons if he turned The Axalon over to him. No matter how many times Dinobot betrayed Megatron or foiled his plans, Megatron still welcomed him with open arms. Even using the notion of honor in front of Megatron...and BOLDLY.

I don’t think he brought dinobot back out of respect for him. Megatron felt slighted by his betrayed and wanted a bit of satisfaction. Dinobot may hav even the most competent of megatrons followers but he also made megatron look like a fool on several occasions. He died foiling megatrons biggest plan. To rewrite history by destroying mankind before they existed. Bringing him back to life as his obedient enforcer was a way of repairing his damaged ego.

Lol, Optimal Optimus is twice the size of Transmetal Megatron, but in fight the Megatron is the one with adventage... He can even afford to turn his back on opponent! Why after Optimal Situation Primal is so ineffective? In this moment with 4 modes, heavy armor and battle station in his chest he should be the most powerfull character!

Yeah, every so often a status pod had a protoform with no spark called a blank. How do you think Rhinox was able to save Optimus Primal? Why he connected himself to the matrix and quickly retrieved Primal's spark and placed into a blank protoform.

It makes sense storywise; Megatron would obviously focus on neutralising Optimus first to give his forces the chance to win every encounter. In addition, the Predacon advantage is that the Maximals have to play defensive this season so the Predacons can utilise their time better in strengthening their equipment and tactics.
