The part the makes it good for me is that Dinobot was kind of underpowered compared to the other characters, especially once some got transmetal forms. His only projectile weapon is his eye lasers, and though they often show him blasting them off when in the group to lay down fire, i don't recall them ever incapacitating anyone by themselves. Hence, he doesnt even use them during this fight! His sword was iconic, and the chopping sound of his tail blades was one of the most noteworthy in the series. He was easily the most memorable melee weapon user in the series, minus Optimus who had those machetes and Cheetor having clubs...but since they always had guns also...and got numerous new forms, (3 apiece!) poor Dinobot just always seemed outclassed
