Loved this guy in the show. It's really to bad that the figure kind of sucks.

Damn not much impresses this dude, huh? Admittedly I haven't watched his whole catalogue of videos but I've recently been trying to collect all the old beast wars figures I had as a kid and I've been throwing him on a couple times a day just to refresh myself with the line, and so far he's disliked like 85% of the figures he's reviewed.

It's not just some dinobot clone, it's Dinobot even has a spark of it, so it speaks for itself,and also dies the moment he begins to remember everything again, and he sacrifices himself again

You should rewatch the show my friend. He is very show accurate with his tails side to side movement and you positioned his talons upside down. I also dont have a problem with my figures tail being crooked. The part of his leg with the hose on it is his shin so it shouldn't bend there anyway. No disrespect intended.

But he IS the original Dinobot just brought back from the dead with his memories wiped. Because remember just before he dies... AGAIN... after Rampages death he regains his memories and betrays Megatron. He wouldn't be able to regain the memories of the original Dinobot if he were not the same character.

I think this is actually the best Dinobot out of all of them, including Generations. I cut the tubes off of his robot legs/dino hands and that makes him a bit more poseable in that area.

I have mine sitting on my desk in front of me, tail is not crooked at all and this Dinobot is not a mess and it doesn't suck, not trying to bash you but you have lots of problems with most of your bots and I don't have any problems with them.

Can’t disagree more. Very cool show accurate figure. I’ve got two of them (bone) and (white) one for Dino and one for bot. Neither of mine have flaking chrome and have held up beautifully.

This dinobot is one of my fave BWT2 figs it is the entire T2 set. The wiring tubes are a problem though.

You say you know what happens to dinobot but I don't think you ever actually watched the shows. you didn't like quickstrike having his insect legs as a hand, despite that being his character, you didn't understand why noble savage is a dragon and a wolf, and you don't understand this guy's supposed to be ugly as hell. if you just say yah I didn't watch the show and these are based purely on a toy standpoint that's one thing, but you pretend to know the characters then diss the toys for looking like them.

this was one of my favorite toys as a child. however, the one problem i always had with it were the robot mode legs/beast mode arms. they would not stay in place in beast mode and thus would make him topple over in robot mode. but it's still a great toy

I usually love these reviews, this one was kind of harsh. I agree, on the crappy quality of his joints and mine is all flaky too(busted the arm and leg tubes to get him posed properly XD), but in Beast mode he is pretty much show accurate, maybe ugly, but that's what he looked like in the cartoon. Robot mode looks a teensy bit better if you lay the shoulder pads over his biceps.

I just bought mine since I had one when I was little (Had two but gave one away) Lost all the parts and I only have one leg xD So when I get him in the mail first thing im doing is getting rid of the tubs.

From what I understand the Plastic it used is very brittle so that's why the ball joints become so loose

He was actually my favorite transformer toy, yea he is ugly but he is supposed to be I think. I liked him because he had a very fluid transformation. After a while I could change him in a few seconds. Loved it, need to go to my moms and see if she has him

I absolutely disagree with you Dinobot 2 is one of my favorites in my collection! The Beast wars transformers were one of the best product lines ever made . He looks identical to the show and sure he sucks to transform but is a great rendition of the character

Those shoulder pads would make a Space Marine proud. Baltmatrix a thin layer of super glue or a matte clear sealant should prevent flaking. Super glue holds up better but its harder to apply due to the fact that if its uneven at all or lumpy it might show.

Adhesion promotor or a clear coat then base coat then metallic paint then another clear coat.Try createx for base then folk art metallic to make it metallic its tricky to colour match exactly.
