I love the ending of this song where it said ただキミを守る　そのために　走る　走る　走るんだよ　僕の中の僕を超える which means "Just to protect you, for that reason, I run. Surpass "the me" inside of me." I love this because it corresponded with that particular part of the video, where Legoshi took Haru's hand and the two ran away from what looked like the other side of Legoshi that fell to his instincts and wanted to devour Haru.

Starting this piece of garbage anime was the greatest mistake, the entire S2 didn't make any sense and the final ep was the last nail in the coffin. Studio Orange shouldn't screw around any longer with this worthless story and give us Houseki no Kuni S2 at long last.

@@yolkgun Haru disappears mid-sentence, around 0:30, instead of synching up with and punctuating the question. If you look at the head-swivel and red-eye flash at 0:10ish, it feels intentionally timed with the vocals, but I feel like the red would be more satisfying if it waited just that half-second more for the bell sound. Mainly, though, I think it's the fact that I don't think anything matches up with that sick synth bass in a satisfying way.

Tbh I was a bit disappointed in this song. The first 40 seconds is kind of overall bland and had a terrible transition into the next part. After 40sec the song is absolutely incredible and perfect but the before just kinda seems somewhat bad. Maybe it's just me though and it is still a great song.

There's a shocking lack of Red Deer in this opening, considering the huge role Louis will be playing in this season. Instead, there's an immense focus on Haru, who really kind of starts taking the backseat in this season. Not sure what the thought process was here - did they just want to prevent anything that they thought might have been a spoiler? I mean, I feel like we'll see Louis in like, the first episode, so I dunno what all the secrecy concerning him is about. I hope they update the opening as time goes on.

Ikr, Louis literally needs more visuals in the opening than Haru. Other than being Legosi's driving force, Haru's been taking a break from everything and is completely oblivious of the happenings around the next arcs. Riz is probably even more important here than her. No hate on Haru cuz she's best girl but Itagaki didn't serve her justice.
