Mending on diamond armor works only if u have armor piece in your hand U can do this like when u kill zombies in the exp farm u can quickly swap to diamond armor and it will be repaired Also unbreaking 3 is best for armors

8:55 To speed up the smelting of ores, use a blast furnace. Blast furnace smelts ores twice as fast as normal furnaces. 12:00 If you plant saplings like that then they wont grow up. There needs to be some space between each sapling. And, your mending isnt going to repair everything on which there is mending. It chooses one random item on which there is mending and then it repairs it. So you should have unbreaking 3 on every armor.
