What is amazing about the Beastie Boys were their progression in musical talent which held such a unique sound which never became stagnant. A complex sound with great uniqueness.

I was at the opening concert for this tour at Red Rocks outside of Denver. The dog show was unexpected and hilarious! The boys were a little rough, being the first stop of the tour, but giving "Paul Revere" to the fans, and to be the first to experience it was fucking amazing! RIP MCA

True. I have done my time in some pits, and I was absolutely shredded on the Check Your Head tour. I was in the front row, the Beasties came out and started "Shake Your Rump", and before the song was over, I was 50 yards from where I started.

The first time I heard the beastie boys I was speaking to a friend when I was a teenager and he played “Paul revere” over the phone. Fast forward too many years and I was lucky enough to see their amazing performance at Coachella. The circle was complete.

Agree, that was one of the things that attract me to the band. In concert while playing with Murphys law the introduction came through and out of nowhere The Beastie boys took stage.. MCA starts rapping, he has a distinctive voice. He is missed greatly! 😢

I've seen a lot of interviews with these guys. If they're having to talk about themselves they'll just troll you, get silly and waste your time. But if they're being interviewed about who they're listening to, rappers they admire or anything about the recording process they'll take it serious.
