Lot of charity organizations in US like Susan Komen G are swindling money from the donations than doing actual charity. In fact John Oliver did some segment on this kind of fake charity including manufactured homes where Warren Buffett has stakes in it😂. No wonder the rich has been getting richer and the middle class and the poor getting poorer in the last 2 decade. I used to donate $ 2-5 in all shops where they beg for diabetes, AHA, ACS etc but not anymore. Look at our health system. Its completely screwed up. We have been holding the obesity champion title for years. Its all because of these fake orgs and medical industries incl doctors. Again Oliver did a segment on the patient(meat/prey) surrounded by predators doctos/pharmas/insurance comp/hospitals who all want to have a piece of that meat.

I agree on that. Wasn't it Kurzgesagt that made a video talking about Egoistic Altruism or something like that? Like, if people do something truly good for others, even if it comes from a place of egoism, we should commend that as long as what they are doing is genuinely good. I'll be clear and say that I don't think Mr Beast is doing it for the clout or sponsor money, he has done a lot of really big philanthropy and moving all the ad revenue from that to even more philanthropy, but even if he were, as long as it is being done right and helping people, no one should hate on that. Literally, if the internet was able to make philanthropy and genuinely helping others (not fake helping, true helping) into the most popular and profitable by views thing on the internet and motivate all the empty clout chasers into genuinely helping others, even if the people helping were to be empty clout chasers, they would still be doing good, right?

So proud of you for doing this. I have personally seen grocery stores throw out thousands of dollars of edible food each week and then lock the dumpster so it can't be shared. With costs today our food lasts 3 weeks max until we literally get by on soup or beans (canned) while edible fruit and vegetables are a bolt cutter away (plus jail) sitting in a dumpster. I heard expired canned goods goes to the dollar stores sometimes (not sure) Great video! Awareness is key!❤❤❤❤

This reminds me of a documentary I watched about the hospitals in Yamen for malnourished children. It was called Hunger Ward. There are children in these hospitals that are suffering and dying that these doctors are desperately trying to save as the war on famine increases. There are children who are over the age of 10 that look skeletal and like 3/4 year olds. It’s so heartbreaking… I think you need to go help these children. It’s increasingly getting worse and the hospitals don’t have all of the proper equipment to save these children. It’s heartbreaking.
