i want to reiterate that i *DO NOT* believe that just simply adding a store will be enough to save this game but if they properly (keyword: properly) allocate the funds generated from this store to meaningful patches that keep player engagement, we might actually have content for the game that comes in a more timely manner. of course there are other severe problems staking at the heart of BoB that i could have mentioned, but with money comes the ability to devote more time to the game and hopefully address these other problems. you do not have to buy anything from this shop either if you dont want to! it would be an option available to those who are willing! i do not particularly advocate for microtransactions in video games but here i can make an exception if they use the money earned in a meaningful way. thank you for all the interesting comments so far!

What killed the game for me is how official servers are dead. The community servers are nice,but every community server is on all easy settings and you basically get juiced with the best traits right out the egg. The community servers stripped the gameplay out for me so..
@disasterallosaurus Жыл бұрын
officials being dead is a really tragic thing. a lot of people tend to avoid them because of the toxic clans and prominent hacking issue (yes im aware it can be done on every server but officials are an easy target without mods around often) i would be more interested in playing on officials if they upped their moderation a bit. like you said though, community servers are nice but theres definitely some flaws to it when theyre around for a longer period of time. im not sure what could be done to make officials more popular though, it used to be popular to play on a few years back but nobody seems to touch them anymore... if youre a new player who just got the game, its very deterring im sure. new players tend to gravitate towards official servers when first learning the game, and if theyre near 0 population it can be a horrible sign. thanks for your thoughts! :)

To avoid backlash they could make most “shop” skins also unlockable through challenges on official servers (not easy stuff like grow to 1.32 tho lol) but reasonably challenging tasks maybe involving trials on a specific dino. This could also bring life to officials and still make money cause 80% of the playerbase would rather spend money on skins then get out of their afk chatbox servers to actually play the game properly heh.
@disasterallosaurus Жыл бұрын
I love the idea of unlockable skins as well! I think rewarding players with skins or overlays when they reach certain milestones or perform tasks in-game would be an excellent way to retain player engagement! Not all skins have to be unlocked through purchase, of course, they have been doing a great thing with these event themed skins as they draw people back in :) I know they do this to an extent with elder eyes being an example, but I think harder tasks would be a lot more engaging and worthwhile for players to dedicate time to grind towards. Great comment, love the idea!

How to fix beaata of bermuda: 1. Make an indepth cosmetics, skins, and emote shop that uses XP from dinos as a cost, but also have some skins be able to be purchased in steam. This will give the devs some much needed money. 2. Optimize titania 3. Make advertisements with this new money either with big youtubers or maybe a steam trialier, although I know those r expensive, so maybe not. This will bring lots of new people to the game and returning ones, especially with titania optimized. 4. Go from there to either add more content or whatever is best. Edit: spelling

One thing I think helped stir up hype for bob and updates were the trailers. And I don’t mean the occasional animation showcase, but a guaranteed showcase, followed up by a species trailers for either the new playable or remake of a creature (or whatever the update was based around). I always looked forward to their videos, but them being very few and far between now I think has not given many people the lost of anticipation and excitement new content once did.
@MythimnaImpura Жыл бұрын
i think a big problem is that many people have purposely tried to sabotage BoB multiple times in the past, usually through spreading rumors, sometimes because youtubers that really dislike the game for some reason, which means word of mouth advertising is not nearly as effective. BoB is the easy to hate underdog i think, so people want to bully it and really drag it down. i think a lot of the current issues are a compounded series of events that are not necessarily entirely the devs faults(though i do realize there was a lot of decisions in the past that *absolutely* couldve been better) being post-pandemic has also seen a lot of games lose population as well, BoB is an unfortunate victim of it i think buyable cosmetics would be interesting for the games future, as long as they strictly remain cosmetics, as long as there's just as cool ones that are obtainable by spending time ingame through doing the gauntlet mode or achievements. i would absolutely kill for scar overlays overall a good video! respectful while still highlighting issues and offering your own solution to fix them. very excellent

I think BoB could do with a new trailer on its steam page that better reflects the current models, map and mechanics (sort of like the one they have for the Titania update ) since the one up there now is years old. Not sure if it’d be best to do that when rest of the roster has had their model/animation updates though. But beyond that they could definitely do with some proper advertisement to bring new players, I’m unclear on the details of how to do that but it’d be nice to have a larger player-base to diversify/grow the community. At present there’s only like 2 _active_ servers that hosts Titania which is official #2 and Deep abyss, the former barely sees 50 players on a good day (usually higher when a new update rolls around) and the latter has a huge pop but….. has issues of its own with all the rules and provisions that diminish the experience. Barely feels like I get to play the base game for what it is because of how much people not wanting much challenge. I really want to see this game thrive like I _know_ it can, they’ve come a long way and overtime they’ve managed to iron out/Improve things that had turned me off from playing for a long time. As soon as the Titania update dropped I played it more than I ever had just cause there was so much content that appealed to me. However there seems to be a lot holding the game back, one of the biggest (ironically) being the current community itself and the devs tendency to give in to them. From what I’ve gathered auto-revives appear to have struck a substantial blow.

I've been saying for a while now I would by now i would buy fancy skins so *fast* I love the shimmer and glimmer skins and would love to be able to buy new versions, or scars ect, One of my biggest loves of this game is customization, and being able to further customize my dinos would be a massive hit, I've spent thousands of hours for a game that only costs 20 something dollars, and ever have 2 accounts, I *want* to see it do well, I just hope the devs can overcome their challenges to do so.

I been saying this for ages, they need a way like microtransactions to fund the game that adds content to the game instead of damn stuffed animals lmao. Sure sell stuffed animals still if you want but if that is how you make money for your game it's embarrassing. Purchasable skins would be amazing but it falls on deaf ears when it comes to requesting a feature like that to the devs. Also one reason Path of Titans stole me away from BoB is mods. Mods in a game like BoB would help tremendously with the community adding content to the game when content is far, far, far inbetween releases. Yeah purchasable skins would be amazing but let's be honest, devs are not gonna do it, they may even say shit like maybe at one point we will but by then the game could be dead and buried. Hell if mods were a thing, the oceans may even be alive but instead we have the same 3 aquatics we've had for years now. And all we get as new content is either dumb text dlc or remodels of the same creatures that have been in the game for years and takes years to remodel. I also for one do not like the new game mode, it's very very bland. I will probably only ever be interested in free roam. It's what i purchased the game for not the new mode.

The other donator (it was going to be a PAIRING donation originally, where we were going to donate it together) went MIA for several months with NO PAYMENT put into Palaeophis, and VERY LITTLE CONTACT WITH US, and they were given a deadline two weeks out *AFTER ALREADY BEING ABSENT FOR AT LEAST 4 MONTHS MINIMUM* while I had already had my half of this donation paid for long before then. They didn't meet the deadline that was set by the team, so we switched it so I could finish it out and guarantee that the creature would actually make it to full funding so it could actually get put into the game. If we wait forever for someone to come donate, and they aren't making *any progress at all,* then you'll never get the creature, since it has to be fully funded. The other donator also never mentioned anything to me about being sick during either of the 2 times they made any contact with me in that 4 month or longer period, so don't know where you got that from. @VPoii Жыл бұрын
There are a handful of realism servers, although their population typically runs at 35-50 depending on the map and if any events are running. WWD and Encompass are two that have been around the longest, both have a pretty dedicated player base, decent rules, and extensive profiles. They can be a bit nitpicky, but honestly it's worth it for how much work they put into combing out toxic players.
@ayenii Жыл бұрын
BoB has come really far in terms of realism in the past couple years. Many models and animations have been remade, and more are in the works. As for realism servers, there is one hardcore realism one (WWD), one roleplay-realism one that leans more on the semi realistic/anthropomorphized (talking/sentient dino) side (Encompass), and an optional realism one (Titanheimr). There may be more but those are the only three with any amount of population on them.

I'm typically the guy pounding his keyboard over microtransactions. The types of transactions that get me up in arms are gameplay advantages like Blizzard offers. The cosmetic DLCs you suggest are somewhat damaging, as cosmetic/skin appearance is the end goal for a lot of players. I think cosmetic DLCs would be fine if they were not nestable, which would also encourage players not to buy the DLC. I for one would nest my server in with the skin if that were possible. Scars, feathers, statue skins, glow effects, etc. would be great DLC options I feel. I personally would buy a raggedy feather mane or feather beard for my Acro, probably scars and, if available, glowing eyes. This is from a guy that historically hates microtransactions with a passion. I've been playing since pre-Steam. I honestly think the two most major issues of the game are, yes, funding, and new player support. I was very happy to see the Help/tutorials section they have coming up. As naturally as the controls come to us now, it is not, for example, expected for new players that their eat key also functions as their flight braking key. Tutorials will help greatly in new player retention, which is honestly quite poor. It doesn't help new players are herded towards low pop officials (with private servers being hidden by default, and them receiving a "not the intended experience" warning when trying to join a private server) which I along with many other players only play to let off steam or unlock something they force as officials-only. I understand a small handful of folks do play officials regularly, my statement is not all-encompassing. As a final note, I gotta say, if microtransactions are pushed in the faces of players when they're just trying to create a character like they were/are in Path of Titans, I do not think that would be received well. Nor is preying on collectors, i.e. "You have all skins except . Buy here to complete your collection!" I would hope the team would not do that. The main menu, where plushies are advertised, seems alright if it needs to be advertised in-game.

Getting in touch with more dinosaur youtubers or putting up more content like the isle's Update trailers/mechanic trailers would help to draw in more players, because as of now the only trailer we have is of very old skins or models
@disasterallosaurus Жыл бұрын
yes i do agree that the learning curve of this game is much more intense than that of the other two dino games! i believe that this is a huge problem on its own that can also deter new players from touching the game. it did take me about a year as well to actually learn how the game mechanics work initially, it was really frustrating at certain points. i like that they are finally introducing a help menu for the next patch, but i feel like the help menu should have come a year or two ago before titania was released with the insurgence of new players who may have felt the same frustration and left due to being completely lost against veteran players with a better understanding of the game. i do also agree that they should start doing more youtube video content to advertise, even tips and tricks like the path of titans developers put out on their channel would be a fantastic help to new players who have no idea how to play the game or trying to understand game mechanics. youtubers would also be a big help in promoting the game, however, i do not think they could afford to sponsor large channels to play their game D:

Interesting, this is the first I've seen or heard of BoB and your channel. I think I'll take a looksee. If you're still in touch with the devs then you can make suggestions to them, like crowd funding to raise money. Crowd sourcing to see if people can be found to contribute to the game's development, say by officially collaborating with modders to incorporate changes made using mod tools into the base game. Things like this can save a game. If I was them I would be very hesitant or at least extremely cautious about finding a publisher to buy BoB, too many games like this get bought by pump and dump companies. Ultimately some new form of income has to be created so the devs have something to live on at least. Long term support of games is tricky and I do not envy anyone in the position of having to crunch the numbers on that. I can't remember is it illegal for a studio to get kickbacks on player trading? If not a player trading system could be interesting. Steam's player trading makes millions if not more. Probably a lot more actually.
@ayenii Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately crowdsourcing isn't an option. Steam heavily dislikes devs getting donations or any form of funding outside of their platform, using the excuse of "it's dangerous for players, tax reasons, just make a donation item on steam, etc" when in reality they just want their 30% cut. BoB tried to crowdsource already, too. I forget if it just was a flop or if Steam straight up blocked it, though.

I think more dinosaurs would be awesome but I think the reason they take too long on that is due to the aforementioned funding problem. I definitely see microtransactions within the realm of possibilities for them to add at a later point, especially if taunts or skins are involved. In fact, when the soundtrack was released with the included rat taunt, I knew several people rush to buy it for not only their main account, but for their alts as well. It'd be a way to generate money without taking away from the gameplay and how it effects casual players. If desperate enough, adding additional playable slots players could purchase could definitely get the money rolling in as well, although, that might be received with a little less positivity.
@disasterallosaurus Жыл бұрын
i was one of those people who rushed to get that emote haha, i totally get it. *i* think the idea of purchasing player slots isnt /very/ harmful, even though the devs have mentioned that they probably will never be able to increase player slots without wiping everyone's dinos, but i wonder if that would be considered predatory in the eyes of the community. i never thought about that concept but i think purchasing slots would definitely get some backlash from some people like you mentioned. dont get me wrong, it is an interesting idea, but i really do wonder how the community would react to that. i think skins and emotes would be a great thing to tackle first and if the community demanded slots being purchasable as well it would be an intriguing route for the devs to take.

Add in some different types of spikes/spines/crests related to it in a cosmetic cash shop. I've been with BoB before it was ever public, was a dinky little test map with asset bought dino's and it was called Paleo Playground, I was really good friends with Pred at one point for a few years and was lucky enough to be the small friend group that truly got to see the game start from the ground up; I love this game and I think it's on the right path to becoming even better but I think there's a few reason's why it's not received as much love as the other 2 games which...One being Dondi (the lead Isle dev) made sure to slander the hell out of the game ASAP and the other's I'm iffy on saying as I wouldn't want to get shadow banned from the game/discord...Again. BoB is so unique and it's a shame that it's the slept on sibling of the 3 games and I'm really hoping with the next few releases dinosaur wise that the population will rise again but the only other thing I could possibly think of is maybe advertisement? Or optimizing it for console and reaching out to said console companies like PoT did? That takes money and effort for sure, so some small skin transaction's really aren't a bad idea to at LEAST hold down a stable income but def think they should start thinking about getting the game on other platforms at some point to greaten the reach & audience since a lot of people can't afford PC's. :)

I’ve got some 1400 hours in this, I love the game. However, I just have not been playing it lately as the pure survival gauntlet official play style is pretty much dead. The official servers are more often than not, never above 20-30 players. Occasionally I have seen them at 70 or so when a new patch hits, but walking around Titania with 20 players is just a very dry experience. I do not like community servers, I like the inevitable march towards death that comes as you grow beyond “max” size in other games. It keeps the experience fresh. Live, fight, die, live again. You don’t get that on community servers, that playerbase is attached to their creatures, they do not want to ever lose them and they end up toying with growth and food drain etc leaving this never ending playground of giants getting bigger and bigger. It’s just not what I want, I’ve tried them and I had a 1.3 acro that was just absolutely dwarfed by the kaijus, it’s comical. So basically the game died for me when the devs tried to shoehorn the endless growing and power creep back into their intended gauntlet offerings. They gave up their vision for bob going forwards and allowed for two different player bases. One who wanted a survival experience and one who want more of a persistent “this is my character” experience. My group apparently is the minority as outside of officials, again, there is nowhere for me to play. Thank you for reading my rant. I hope Bob can turn it around one day.

For me, its the individual servers that has ruined the game. The amount of times ive seen blatant admin abuse in this game is crazy and it seems like each month theres a new popular server because the last one got deleted over mod drama. The beasts devs even have a report a server in the official discord but if you report admin or mod abuse they just kinda say oh well and leave it be rather than do anything to fix it like prevent them from advertising the server. Also some of the newer updates killed it for me - the changes to apa and lurd specifically. Apa and lurd just get shit on now because they took away their tankiness and gave them speed which isnt fun I wanna be able to fight back against a rex/icthy my size not just run and pray they cant keep up or i find a group
@Ozensaiop Жыл бұрын
also 100% just let ppl buy shimmers like ory, trope, and ickthy - glimmers i can see not doing bc of having to be a donor and all but shimmers and rune skins should be fair game
@ArchieLemon Жыл бұрын
@@Ozensaiop ^^^ Because of how much you commit when you join a server also makes it to that these admin-abusing servers never go down. Committing here means how much time you've spent growing, inherit grinding, skin mixing, skin mutations, etc... Take for example a server that shall not be named, a p*do was kept on staff, however, the server only died MONTHS after that incident because they did a player wipe. Also as a Lurd main it isn't that bad anymore. I have a decent Lurd (1.4) rn with +2 brawl and +1's up the rest of my combat and speed tree, and I'm able to 1v1 a 1.9 Ichthy and win 50%~ of the time. I've also beaten aqua Rexes in a 1v1 in water (same Lurd). Though it was definitely dog water before the most recent update.
@IndominusRex-wc1ey Жыл бұрын
Ratska my guy, Apatosaurus and Lurdusaurus are just fine. Lurdusaurus, at 1150 hp and more mobile than ever, shits on everything underwater but mosa, krono and jagrex, and on land if it can land the charge turn 1 it's a guaranteed victory. As for apa, it is still by a mile the tankiest animal in the game, and with added mobility, it can confirm kills far easier or displace opponents far better
@ayenii Жыл бұрын
9 times out of 10 a Lurd wins when fighting an Ichthy of the same size. It matches it in damage (as long as talents/inherits are identical, ofc), has more HP, and is faster in the water than ichthy. If you die to a solo rex of the same or similar size as solo apa, then I will be brutally honest: you likely need to practice on a DM server for a bit and learn new fighting strategies. An apa with pretty much any build except pure speed/pure surv turns solo rexes into paste.

Individual(private) servers are just recycled garbage at this point. If you’ve been around long enough you’ll see how their rules are just copied and pasted from the past 7 servers, their player/staff base consists of the same people who: 1. been banned from multiple servers. 2. Been caught exploiting/hacking. 3. Been reported for admin abuse. Cant be mad though. No one in their right mind is going to tell people that pay their bills to stop cheating and what not or they’ll be banned

I think there's also a larger problem in the gameplay loop(s) and the fact that there are three separate gamemodes, two of which are conflicting "survival" modes. BoB has no endgame. At least in Isle its guaranteed that you hit max growth, die and that's it, you restart the loop as a juvie or get nested in as a hatchling. BoB is all over the map - you can grow infinitely and die via sacrificing yourself or via game design through starving and either restart, revive, or reincarnate. And thats not even getting into Gauntlet (Life Cycle) vs. Old Survival (Free Roam), and the different community server playstyles like Chill, Realism, Semi-Realism, AutoRev, No Rules, etc. There's just too many directions for the small playerbase to split off into and it just hurts the game. This all does tie back into funding and hopefully with more money behind the project and better allocation we can have creatures getting their sorely needed remodels + updated kits, the steam page getting updated, continued optimization, and dynamic playable balance where playables are adjusted as needed in smaller patches that come along with bugfixes and whatnot. I really do miss playing BoB but its very unfulfilling rn (and also doesn't run on low end machines anymore)

I bought it after seeing this video, sadly I haven't had the same starting experience as you had As I asked questions in game I was given many trolling answers instead of actual help, I had to resort to KZbin to find out the basics of the game, without much luck as there isn't much to find on here either. The players in the servers I have found to be very toxic to new players, they quite literally recommended me to "return to Isle" on multiple occasions I might try it out sometime in the future again, but so far I've been very dissapointed by the game and many of the players

This attitude is what has been killing this game as well. This was NOT how I was treated in the beginning and it's what kept me. I clearly see how far some of this community has devolved in respect for new players... I am truly sorry this happened to you, may i ask what server(s) you were on? It's disappointing to hear people give new players such a hard time... 💔 Should you ever give the game a chance again and would like *actual* help, please feel free to add me and I would be more than happy to help you out, but I understand if you have been put off after this horrendous experience. 3:57 they could sell rly nice new skins like that, even the old glims would make good money cuz there are like a few ppl who owns them and they never play. Also theres a bad thing which is the game is kind of complicated for the new players who start the game alone. I remember my first days on bob tryna eat normal plants to get bias instead of eating the yellow flowers and dying cuz of fall dmg many times and the talent tree seeming too complicated but these can be sorted out in a test server or low pop servers. I just think they should bring back old modeling scale and old dmg/jump/ap/stam/grab scales for all dinos, it would be so fun (except for guantlet mode, 15% scaling good for gauntlet but not 2x or 1x servers imo)

What can ruin a game is often a variety of factors often unconsidered and can occur with even big time triple AAA studios. 1. Attending to your community is a huge condition one must meet when releasing a game into early access and having a multiplayer focus, their feedback is crucial to the longevity of the games lifespan. (The moment a developer ignores the community or shows bias to a specific person in the community "sometimes occurs with indie studios" you're essentially signing a unauthorized death certificate for the remainder of your game. 2. Frequent updates it's understandable that Indie studios struggle financially and more then larger studios but that's typically why you focus on projects within your financial bounds you don't create these MMO's when you have a small budget because unless your experience is a one in a million odds are it's gonna be a slow to steady income and if you don't provide constant updates or game altering updates it's likely going to seize to accumulate. 3. Budget is a huge situation when regarding a successful game, don't overprice your product but also don't undermine your project neither by being afraid to place price tags that make some people doubt your intentions. "Not everyone is gonna feel comfortable spending $20 but some people may suggest your project be worth more than your asking price" take advantage of what you have but don't overcharge and don't undersell. 4. Marketing how you market and advertise your product can determine the difference between a successful game and a unsuccessful one. If you simply have trailers on your KZbin channel and that's the only marketing you do than that's minimum effort, if you only provide trailers to the Steam community than it may get recognition but sometimes more effort is required and having more diverse trailers and devs vlogs is required to hype people. 5. Finally we have communication which is similar to garnishing to your community but nothing can spell disaster for a games longevity like not communicating with your customers, fans and potential future customers. It's important to have a place where you can communicate in a friendly space on future updates, future trailers and this would provide you the space to create polls on future installments as a company and establish loyalty if you develop more then one product. _ If a developer isn't capitalizing on these basic principals than the game may see some shortcomings and struggles but with correct marketing, devotion and the willingness to succeed anything can be accomplished.., I have mentioned a console release to X/S could keep the game running without the need to run towards monetization practices and while this may be outside their comfort zone' it's either employ change or risk losing your product to the competition whom by the way is willing to make daring jumps.

Thinking about it more, it is unique in that it offers a survival experience that isn’t dependent on combat. (It is to an extent if you choose to play the dinos reliant on it, but you’re not locked into it nor are you forced to play that way). Such a great game - more ppl should play it.

My Issues i have with the game: 1: There's no way to become an exclusive skin owner anymore. Sure, there's the seasonal event skins. Half of them don't pass through nesting. Even after the event has ended, they just don't pass with the glow. I didn't know about this game back in 2017 alright? So, how was i supposed to be aware of the 2 month kickstarter program? I didn't join until late 2020. It can give more funds and allow a new generation of owners into the mix. Even if it's just to pay for a glow layer on a default skin. 2: Bio Hunting Groups. Declining anyone who even tries to take an egg. And if they accidentally accept, they will kill your egg. Being in a group egg doesn't count as being group killed on Officials. And, you'll be hated by the farming group. Don't farm on the official server if you aren't going to share. 3: Mutation Hunting. I was lucky enough to complete the mutation gallery by sniffing other players. However, why is it impossible to hatch any mutations? 10 GP, Double Blessed=Nothing. Meanwhile, some random player with 1 GP, no blessing parents, gets it on the first egg. 4: Reincarnations are garbage with max trials. There is no point maxing out trials to Champion (100%) when the inherits from it are trash. I've gotten better luck from partial trials. 5: Self Feeding Carnivores. Isn't the whole point to explore the map and to find your food? Then why are players allowed to use an alt and drop gores right where they logged their 5.0+ mosa, or whatever. 6: Lack of popularity for a particular dino. It seems like only real, unique, shim/glim owners are incentives to play that creature. Or, if a content creator/favorite moderator plays it. The group numbers show. Ory: 1. Velo: 15. 7: Not updating the older maps. I get the nostalgia part. Come on, they need an overhaul. Volcano Bay doesn't even have a completed map (island on the south edge got spliced). These old maps also have salt, healing flowers, and bias flowers bunched up into "camping spots". Not to mention how tree food is limited to only trees of whatever FP's spawn. Titantia shows they can spread those out. Let the older maps follow that example. 8: The WarPaints can't even be customized. Just for the face and can't change the bio color. Makes it ugly on my custom skins, so i remove it. 9: Autorevive has been shown to kill the game. Keep it strictly for Death's Blessing event. For those who remember old Official 6. It used to be bustling with population. AR was added and the server died. Defeats the purpose of death penalties if it can just die and come back with no lost growth to just repeat the cycle. 10: Lack of a map editor. There's the Foliage Placement tool. But, you need access to the EnterSpectate Command. Map Editors can't even use the tools the devs use to make maps. Add that from just a blank box, add a checklist so that troll maps don't just spawn you in to die/softlock, and add workshop support. And this opens up so much potential. 11: Talent Tree rebalancing. A lot of the trees feel unbalanced. And some talents are best saved for the end. Buff Sturdy. 90% hp is required to use it. Despite Ory being one of the weakest creatures that can only sand. As for Isle & Path. Those games are too confusing. How you going to spawn me in starving and not give me any help where to find food so i don't starve to death?

The best aspects of this game is the community and the worst is the top Dev team honestly. Loved meeting the new people and making so many friends on it but from the vast time between updates and the inability to take player's suggestions and the plethora of bugs and issues they refuse to fix and just Band-Aid random QoL updates over. I agree with your points in this but just from how Pred interacts with his community I don't foresee him making any useful changes - he doesn't seem to have the ability to self reflect and take criticism.

i see where youre coming from, i really wonder why the devs are so hesitant to take player suggestions these days. i know some of them arent the best for the game in its current state, but i have seen so many great ideas in the suggestions channel on the discord that seems to go overlooked. i wonder if this is because of the aforementioned financial crisis that theyre enduring trying to keep this game afloat or just pure stubbornness from pred. the latest patch, while the compass is very helpful, isnt really a lot of content to retain players, and that really falls under the QoL bandaid that you mentioned. they really need to start putting out more meaningful updates that will help keep the attention of players... i really dont think the devs were prepared for how big their game got at its peak and seem to be slipping down a slope of confusion trying to grasp what little player base will still stick around. they definitely need to be more open-minded to community suggestions and stop focusing on stuff like playable ai, because even though its a cool concept, it adds little to the gameplay and funds could be going to much more important concepts. thanks for the comment morri, im glad to hear from you ^^

Callie the former modeler, Lifeon the current animator/modeler, Soals the map designer, and to an extent even Predatoria has gotten his act together. I've been considering getting into the genre. but every gameplay video i see is a solo player getting curb stomped by groups. over and over and over. So they should definitely try to make money off of the current players... because breaking into such a punishing game is madness. Not alot of appeal to purchasing the game as a new player.
@ayenii Жыл бұрын
Thing is, there's nothing any dev can do to make groups vs solo players balanced. All PvP games in this genre have the same issue. The Isle has it with its massive megapacks and mixpacking problems, PoT has it with gigantic carnivore packs and herds.. and so does BoB, despite several systems in place to try to prevent such a thing (group limits, species caps, Intimidation debuff when close to ungrouped players, etc.) There's really no stopping it.

I’m not sure if I should be saying this since I never played Beasts of Bermuda before, and I’m sorry if this comment offends any Beasts of Bermuda Players or Developers! After watching this video, I have an idea on what the Beasts of Bermuda Developers could do to potentially get new Players and shine a spotlight on the Game. My idea is what if the Beasts of Bermuda Team, consider making a version of the Game but specifically for the Mobile Platform, IOS and Android, similar to what Path of Titans did, for those that don’t know Path of Titans is currently available on Mobile. I feel like making a Mobile Game version would attract more Players because it’s on a even more easily accessible Platform and it would mean that people who don’t own a Windows PC would be able to, try the Game out. As for how the Beasts of Bermuda Team could make a profit from this supposed mobile game version, there’s a few ways. 1. They could simply make the mobile game the same price as the Steam version. or 2. They could monetise the mobile game the same way Path of Titans does. What I mean by that is that in the mobile version of Path of Titans all accounts get a free dinosaur starter pack which has two herbivore dinosaurs and two carnivore dinosaurs, as a free account you also get access to the official servers (all community servers and realism servers are locked behind, a paywall, the paywall being the full game) . Free Players also get access to all the maps including future ones. So all in all if you have a free Path of Titans account you get access to 1. One Dinosaur Starter Pack which has two herbivore dinosaurs and two carnivore dinosaurs. 2. Access to official servers 3. Access to both maps including future maps 4. Being able to form parties with other players even those who have brought the full game and are on different platforms e.g PC, PS4 ect Personally as someone who does play the mobile version of Path of Titans I think the Path of Titans Team giving people who have free accounts and haven’t brought the full game so much gameplay features/options is very generous and it might have even been one of the reasons why Path of Titans got so popular. In Path of Titans, you can get full access the game by buying any Dinosaur you don’t own from the Path of Titan Store, once purchased you not only get the dinosaur you pay for you also get the rest of the game and that includes the rest of the dinosaurs, all the realism/community servers ect. Maybe a Beasts of Bermuda mobile game could be like this: People who own a free account/Free Players would only get access to official servers and all the Realism Servers, but PVP and Sandbox Servers would be locked off. Also when it comes to dinosaurs, free players could not have access to carnivore and herbivore dinosaurs, while winged dinosaurs and aquatic dinosaurs would be locked off. If someone wanted to buy the full version of Beasts of Bermuda they could do so by either buying the dinosaur they want from the ingame store or buy buying a skin of the dinosaur they don’t own. Doing so would immediately give the person full access to Beasts of Bermuda including the dinosaurs and their skins and all the servers. So yeah that’s my humble suggestion as to what the Beasts of Bermuda Team could do to get new players interested in the game and make some more money. Please let me know what you think of my suggestion and please add any suggestions you might have.

Unfortunately, the harsh reality is that they need to drop all future plans and attempts at revitalizing the current game with future map updates, new game features and upcoming dinosaur additions. Doing so won't fix the underlying problem - which is the reality that the game's running on an incredibly dated engine with horrifically dated graphics, lighting, sound design, UI, animations, optimization and environmental assets that aren't up-to-par with modern standards, let alone on the same level of indie competitors like Path of Titans. Basically, they need to pull and Evrima and remake the entire game from scratch. The core game just looks and feels far too archaic to play, and no amount of tweaks, playable additions and enhancements are going to bring a substantial amount of consistent players. If the massive Titania update couldn't do it, then nothing else is going to work either. Basically: it's time for Beasts of Bermuda 2, whether the devs want to accept that reality or not.

I dont understand why it's considered elitist as long as there's no P2W aspects involved like you said :/ that's such a strange way for them to look at it. if they don't want people to feel left out they could also have the skins as rewards for gameplay, sorta like a battle pass (i didn't really know how to discuss that properly in my video but I think gameplay earned skins would also be a great idea, they kind of already do that anyways with event skins earned through gameplay!) They do need to understand that they are a business and have to start making decisions to stay in business for sure. but thank you butcher :) I love your videos and I hope the devs can finally hear us all out now!

BoB is not BoB anymore. The game is already dead, the few remaining players just refuse to accept it still. At the time of writting this comment, there is 803 players online. That is 1,391 LESS than in September 2022 at 2,194. #1: The Devs DO NOT LISTEN to their community. They wanted to shift the failing game BACK to it's roots as a true Survival Game. But the Chill Server community cried and threatened to leave, resulting in numbers dropping. So they REVERTED THE ENTIRE THING to please that side. Then the Survival Community walked away. Now the game is more toxic little brats than it ever was, hackers hijacking servers multiple times a day, there is NO survival game aspects anymore. It's literally no big deal if you die anymore. In an hour you'll be right back to where you were, on a massive godzilla sized dinosaur sitting there chatting in a glorified dinosaur chatroom half tabbed out watching youtube. #2: The Devs have WASTED funds given to them by the community MULTIPLE TIMES. Hello, Sai Remodel anyone? Oh you know, that funny little thing they have been claiming to be working on for YEARS now. They even had a damn Sai Plushie campaign in order to raise funds to finish it! Yeah.... that went to PAYING OFF A DEVS MORTGAGE!!! $43,000 pissed away!!! Like are you serious?! THEN they had to nerve to try and do it again. Shocker that one didn't even make HALF as many sales. The latest one didn't even make half of the second sai plushies sales. You think them putting Micro Transactions into the game is a good idea? You think that will make people go back? No. The Devs have burned their bridges with their playerbase. People are fleeing to other better games which are actually being updated by devs who give a shit and don't treat the game like their personal piggy bank. #3: There ARE better games out there. Years ago there was only The Isle. then Beasts of Bermuda came and actually was a contender. But honestly in my option Path of Titans has already pulled far ahead of both of the previous games. When Nesting comes out in a few short months, there will be nothing else to hold it back from completely overtaking The Isle as top Dinosaur Survival Game. BoB is already no longer a survival game, so the yeah... BoB as we knew it is already gone. It's time to move on and walk away with good memories, rather than keep holding on to a cold rotting corpse of a game we all knew and loved long ago.

What's the state of the game these days? I was turned away from it when I first saw it, because it seemed kinda... janky. Has it gotten better. 3 examples of the stuff that seemed to me like it needed to be worked on: 1. When herbivores ate from a tree, the tree would blink out of existence. 2. Creatures would be able to jump so far it was like they were in The Matrix. 3. Piles of meat would lie around in such close proximity that it looked like the indominus rex had rampaged through on a killing spree about a week ago.

My main issue is finding a server I can gel with. Which now there's less players makes it harder for EU timezone. I also don't want to play in realism servers with a million rules. I think if they can get their game onto xbox and playstation they'd do much better. But I think that'll cost loads. They have such amazing gameplay with floods, fires and now the reincarnation and AI that it seems odd its struggling. If I could have a game that mixes BoB with Pot then that'll be my dream lol but I like they're different games. Just need to keep looking at servers to play on.

I played the game in the beginning when I still believed in the team, and even donated the Tropeo into the game, so you’d expect that I’d support them right? Wrong. After I was permamutted in both the Discord server and the official game servers because of a false accusation of homophobia I left the community. I haven’t talked with anyone on the team since, except for EchoAlien occasionally asking about Palaeophis. The best thing for this game, and I’m being completely honest here, is for it to die. The community is a toxic cesspool, the staff is nothing more than a corrupt bukake, constantly stroking each other off and the moderators just let hackers and rule breakers go free then turn around and punish innocent players. The game is a lost cause, Predatoria needs to take what he’s learned from this dumpster fire and start over, if he’s even capable of learning.

It is a good idea and I would love to be able to buy skins that look cool or glow to stand out, but I think the player issue is just to big. From a standpoint the game is good but to new players not so much. You are learning and doing your best first go with no instructions or very few, along with getting thrown into a world with already dinos beyond 1.5+. I'm not going to lie and say I quite literally was disheartned to just see my dinosaurs that I grew to a decent size just get wrecked because of a huge pack(people with friends) or a huge dinosaur. Along with the map as stated is hard for others to run on, its a good map but a lot to take in and get used to. I do hope to see more beast of bermuda updates and how it goes, in hopes of reinstalling it. The game doesn't deserve to just drop with all the work the devs have put into it.

BoB, imo is the only dino survival game with a decent combat system, which can be improved a lot still. The inheritance stuff and build variety was another great thing that made it the GOAT of dino survival. Great concept overall, but needs more funding. If you ask anyone that isn't a dino nerd to tell you their thoughts on the game, they'll say its a joke cause of bad presentation. Great vid !
@disasterallosaurus Жыл бұрын
the combat system and build variety is what keeps me still, the other dino games do not give me the same feeling that BoB gives combat-wise (even if it can be quite frustrating at times, like you said it could be improved for sure), and i think thats why i havent moved on from BoB to play one of the other two yet. i have a coworker who has played the isle and path of titans but has never heard of beasts of bermuda and when i showed him BoB he kind of gave me that same response of "it doesn't look as good as the other two". titania was a huge step in presentation but the game just isnt quite there yet because its still an unoptimized mess with some of the older models (velo, sai, pachy to name a few) clashing with the aesthetic. i think it really is a huge turn off to new players visually... but thank you ounce! :D im so happy to hear from you and i really hope youve been doing well dude. thanks for the awesome comment ^^

I think restricting what privately owned servers can do is a bad call. Let there be both auto revive servers and non auto revive servers, both sides get what they want. And if you say no one plays non auto revive servers and only auto revive than maybe your mindset on what the majority wants is wrong if people clearly prefer one mechanic over the other.

Lets he honest, dinosaur games are gone glory. 2020 was the last peak and then after that all games just kinda died. Path of titans seems interesting until you realise its legacy 2.0 (i know the combat is completely different). Its sad but the dinosaur community isnt big enough so we will likely never get an actual good game. Another point I want to add is that if you remove growth the game is a sandbox shitbox with nothing to do, but at the same time growth is easily one of the worst aspects about these types of games. Its a lose-lose situation really and never heard a good argument that could solve this issue. Unfortunately its just one of those problems that cant be fixed (like traffic, inequality). I had fun while it lasted but these types of games are dead as fuck. Edit: And another HUGE thing is that there just isnt that much to do in these types of games. Nesting, eating and drinking, and combat. That is it. And even the mechanics that are in these games arent that fleshed out or well thought out. A lot of problems that people have can be valid but it’s mostly just that people are bored of these games. I think all three at some point in history were good in their own way but yeah now its just boring.

You said that The Isle has a producer that funds the project. I'm assuming that you meant a publisher, and if that is the case, the does not currently, nor has ever had a publisher to fund its development.
@disasterallosaurus Жыл бұрын
Is dondi not considered a producer? He doesn't do any development work, he funded the project that others develop for him while managing everything that goes on. Stolen from google: "A video game producer will manage employees creating video games, play an executive role during each development phase, and ensure the quality and timeliness of the teams working on the project. Your role will be more business focused than creative. You'll handle the budget and ensure production runs on schedule." I'm pretty sure he falls under this category as he was the one who threw his own money at the game in the beginning to start it up, but yeah, they've never had a publisher you're right on that
@elitetwin265 Жыл бұрын
@@disasterallosaurus From what I understand Dondi does actually work on the game, but only has a minor role in it's "actual" development, such as stat adjustments and the like. And with that said, I think that it would be more accurate to say that his role is that of a creative director and/or CEO. Also stolen from google: "The Creative Director in video games, oversees the entire creative direction of a video game project. He is responsible for the overall creative vision of the game (creation of the game world, characters, level design, implementation of game mechanics)." I don't know exactly how the flow of money works for an indie self-published indie game company, but just like the rest of the team, Dondi is still paid a salary, which comes from the money the company earns form game sales and merch.

The biggest problem is the large groups just sitting around at one hot spot, and thats that. Its boring as hell and feels pointless. The balancing needs sorting out as its frustrating as hell and its not welcoming to new players at all. The community is very toxic and you have servers over run by the same players who just take over and make the whole experience not pleasant. I haven't played BoB for months now, I loved the new map, and the little details of water and sand etc on the dinos and the weather system is great too. But these were the main points why I would never return. There is a handful of great players, but the majority just made the community of the game very toxic with there cliques and takeovers with there huge dinos. Its ashame because I did rate this game better than the Isle at one point, but the last time I played, it really isnt for people who are just joining and growing a new dino. They need to get rid of the 2.0+ growing system, and let everyone be equal with there dinos just like in the isle with there growing system. Its fair game for everyone and keeps the game moving and interesting.

They see PoT and think "dino realism" they see the isle and think "oh that's jurassic park", BoB is... the dino pvp game where weird shit happens and the dinosaurs are neon. Not throwing shade or to dismiss your idea of cosmetics reinvigorating the game (MTX absolutely play a part in generating funding) but no amount of money can influence updates to the game that the community disliked to an overwhelming extent causing players to leave resulting in the current decline & lower population (auto revives 2x growth, size scaling, bad Titania optimization/performance on release, gauntlet game mode aka lawn mower simulator, balance changes/nerfs (e.g; acro, pachy) or straight up stagnation of under powered playables for the longest time ( e.g; pre re-work PT). Taking into account outlier issues like certain servers closing their doors causing players to disperse or straight up quit, people move on etc. Its not even intentional game changes, its literally the core foundation of the game existing in such a state that's also harsh for solo players with high barriers to entry (a lot of the game gives little to no tutorial or info relying on word of mouth, clan mentality, inherit grind, current OP dino trend etc). I think at the end of the day you can't really pin point one exact reason why the game isn't doing well but more so all the little things built up over time that's caused people to either leave or convince outsiders that the game isn't worth it - let's be real here, you're literally showing footage of outdated version of BoB (old para/apa models) in the start of your vid. In fact, the only footage you're showcasing of current day BoB is a copy paste section of on-release Titania that many content creators use. Who is that convincing to try the game out? I've seen this happen with so. many. BoB. content. creators. I really don't wanna go on a tangent here because in no way do I mean what I say maliciously but please, log into the game. Record some in-game footage. Even if its just on the older maps (map edits or not) but show people that the game has improved visually, SFX, animations etc. Aside from that yeah, MTX cosmetics is one sure fire way to generate income. I would not be opposed to it, after all they have proven to be capable of making great new skins with high player demand for them. I just don't think cosmetics alone will save the game. I really believe the chaotic BoB from years prior was definitely a golden period with the community(s) at the time solidifying higher player numbers back then. A lot of players have chimed in that those times were what made BoB "fun" but we simply cannot do much with the current path the devs have taken regarding BoB's development.

While this would give money, It doesn't fix the underlining problem, bob has stopped growing in general because its hard for new players to want to play a game with such a vile community you have to deal with often because the game has no way of you being anonymous, doesn't help there is a split between gauntlet and free roam, and with most people only playing auto revive because the combat and balance in this game is awful, for example compare the 3 land combat is generally skilless outside of mabye sai with its timing based reflect (but too bad its unviable garbage to apa for over a year now) and that leaves aquatics and flyers, aquatics are reliant on dart to be somewhat skillful with flyers being 2 sided as pt is extremely op with the current remodel and tropeo having some skill needed, it also doesnt help that most creatures are forced to go speed to be viable, with some not even being viable at all like sai, the "Need" to grow a dino big causes an unhealthy addiction to rise as well which is the only thing bob has going for it. this game is more similar to ark than the other dino games in terms of the community, the only differences here is that ark has diversity that you can choose from and doesnt require you to play with other people to get an enjoyable experience, ark works as a pve, pvp and singleplayer game, even if both the pve and pvp community in ark are considered more toxic than bob, I have experienced both and can tell you the only real difference is age, with most of arks community being 20+ while bobs is like 14+, the toxicity and what is said and done is pretty much the same, another comparison that fits well here is arks "pve vs pvp" debate, this is similar to the "auto rev (pve in this case) vs non auto rev (pvp in this case)" where most of the community prefers to play on a more casual setting where they have to put in less effort to get the same result, and both have a point in this regard, for bob, why would you want to play a game where you get targetted for existing and lose all your progress because some people decided they don't like you and will play the existing meta dino to kill you over and over again, when you can just play auto rev where even if you die, you don't lose anything, while it obviously takes away the survival part of this game which is another problem of its own (i dont play this game anymore as if I can't play official then I just don't play at all), but I can understand why people don't want to have to deal with losing their progress to people who know they can abuse whatever creature is meta or counters whatever your growing, now when we look at ark, there are a few more reasons as that game has complexity due to being a way bigger game, people don't play pvp because for starters, its a grind, as someone who started as an official pvper, the first 4 bases I made got wiped the next day I came on, and as new player I really didnt know how to progress or stay alive until I started making broken bases with the basic work stations to make it look like the base was already raided, and storing my resources in storage boxes inside reef bushes in the water, this allowed me to play official solo and learn the game at my own pace, eventually leading to me moving to the pve side of the game to start the normal ark progression most people do when they get the game, plus trying out mods, this also lead me to play beginner pvp officials alot as it was less grindy and i preferred the more primitive experience, eventually leading me to do a mix of unofficial pvp and then modded pve as the second reason people don't play pvp on ark is the hackers, official is full with them as of now. Whatever the reasons though, they both lead back to 1 thing, and that's Fun, people play these games to have fun and arks pvp grind isn't fun for most people, and bobs survival experience isn't either, there is a reason both games have a very limited official player base when compared to their unofficial counterparts. Ark can mitigate this while still keeping the reason you bought the game, you can still join an unofficial pvp or PvE server and get the same experience on official with safeguards that actually improve the game, Bob's safeguards on unofficial stem from their sizeable rule lists and auto revive, both basically mitigate the problem but at the cost of gameplay, it just turns into a deathmatch chill game with exceedingly awful rules you have to follow, this isn't fully the devs fault as other the weird bias to the mega raptor, it's clear they want a survival game, it's just their community doesn't because in their eyes it's a clan controlled hell hole where if you don't join a clan, your basically not going to enjoy the game if you want to grow which is the main thing people play bob for. In the end, though, Bob won't be able to fix this problem if they want a survival game, because their game isn't complex enough to allow it, the devs could have prevented this early on but didn't as the game was growing back then and nothing seemed wrong, as back then, you could clearly see videos of people just playing the game like the isle, but now 99% of it is just kill comps which like just proves that the survival part of this game is so awful people would rather just play a chill deathmatch experience, as of now, the survival part of this game is surviving the unbalanced clan meta dino, not exactly what I bought the game for, and the alternatives unlike ark, all are awful. I want this game to succeed but I just don't see it happening, there are too many problems for a small dev team to deal with in a short period of time without changing their game alot, which if they do that, gets the current playerbase unhappy (just look at when they removed auto revive or when they size nerfed creatures including talent points)
@butchersblock Жыл бұрын
ive never like the bad community argument. any survival game out there that has loss of progression is "toxic". rust is a great example. ppl love it for the extremely challenging climb and consequences it presents and the community is way more toxic than bob will ever be, yet servers remain populated all the time. toxicity is just a part of games with loss because ppl cant handle loss most generally.
@BoaZ-ns3kg Жыл бұрын
Yet a game like rust is extremely rewarding to skill, allowing people to easily overcome extremely toxic people, that isn't the case in bob where skill isn't needed, even ark shares a similar take and that games balance is based on meta creatures, yet solos like myself can thrive in that game but in bob you will be dying because skill isn't a requirement, theres no way to really avoid nor overcome said toxicity, I can easily deal with arks toxicity on official of constantly awful shit being said because I can easily outskill said person and make them a laughingstalk, but with bob your only option is to just die or not play, for example: If im an apa being chased by 2 apas im basically dead if I don't have another apa help me, but on rust, my friend was able to 1v2 people with BOWS with just a rock, and myself on ark have 1v2d other managarmr users on my own managarmr, the skill ceiling in both those games allows people to fight back if they are good enough, bob is a numbers game and is why toxicity unlike rust or ark is such a big problem.

I've been with BoB for a long time, giving money before it was even before it was on Steam and continuing to play on occasion but the game is in a very dreadful spiral now. The introduction of a new incomplete gamemode while completely rejecting the old and loyal community was certainly at least in my opinion, the beginning of this harsh decline. I'm not saying that Free Roam didn't have issues, but "Life Cycle" (which is a silly name as it's a fast paced, VERY PvP orientated mode rather than the very real, slow grueling grind that life actually is) isn't a golden child either. Splitting the community was bound to cause a decline, I've been in the dinosaur community a long time and every time a server decided to make a new one for more players to play, it almost ALWAYS killed the population on BOTH servers. Pred made a bad call in my opinion with the implementation of Life Cycle, I'm not saying it shouldn't have been implemented however certainly could have done better and not completely ice-walled the old gamemode that his loyal community had known and loved. Yes, things are a little different now but the community is the hand that feeds this game, and Pred bit it so to speak, and it's left a sour taste in my mouth at least and any others who feel the same. I have been saying this for some time though, SKINS, sure don't sell the glimmers obviously but people would throw their wallets at DLC skins, cosmetics, and emotes like hot cakes. However at this point? I don't think it will be enough. While I haven't entirely given up on BoB, simply put I think it may be simply too little, way too late. Even if Pred finally looked into more marketing such as trailers or global game-wide events, there are growing and better alternatives with wider reach out there due to Path of Titans. But there is a place where Beasts of Bermuda is winning over those other games, and that is customization and nesting. Endless growth was a mistake and an endless balancing nightmare so I refuse to consider it a good "feature" for the game, rather simply a mechanic we must live with now. The Isle's nesting is abysmal and provides zero reason or benefits to either parents or those taking eggs to even do so. Path of Titan's planned features for nesting are little and sound like they will also be the same. Neither game has NEAR Beast of Bermuda's skin, build, or even playstyle customization. The Isle practically forces you to play a certain way with very limited ways to moved outside that, and Path of Titans while benefited to realisms, outside of that isn't all that fun on it's own. However it seems that as of late, even that uniqueness is under threat from it's own developers, with shadow nerfs to nesting, continued bugs with buffs and skins, and overall lack of life when it comes to marketing or advertised events for hype/players. Personally? I would love to see DLCs for skins, emotes, and overlays like is suggested as well as more focus on working with now TWO sides of the community because Pred made this bed, now he must lie in it or risk losing it all.

Sadly its not the marketing or the budget...lockdown had seen the community change from a helpfull mature audience to rampant toxicity caused by tryhards whom wanna get the biggest dino...unlimited growth and lockdown influx of players have destroyed it.

There's a reason why isle will and always will be the king of dinosaur games. Ya bob was it's rival but pred screwed up

I get that adsing warpaints and stuff on the store is their attempt to get more money but they havent even fixed issues with the sai upon remodel with carnis biting sais tail and getting away with it AND the spiky shield not working on the full body from nose to tail tip to counter those people. I think before rhis game develops further they need to fix the optimization, the balancing with megaraptor and wie, pachy to be better and stronger whilist nerfing megar to feel more glass thrn just mobile cannon. As of now it feels like a die to rex simulator and i dont enjoy it much.

When i clicked on this video, i thought you were going to be a salty mosa main who was going to cry about how the devs are awful people Glad you're not
@disasterallosaurus Жыл бұрын
Aw hell nah dude, I could make a whole rant video about mosa and how it's my least favorite playable, but I really don't want to turn into a rant channel or piss off mosa mains... LMAO
@IndominusRex-wc1ey Жыл бұрын
@@disasterallosaurus well, you do discussion content like this surprisingly well, so if its a genuine topic you'd be interested in, go ahead and make a video about it! Don't worry about passing off mosa mains, you'll make over 1000 other players who play other animals grateful that you're bringing awareness to the devs about just how awfully balanced Mosasaurus hoffmanii is

The game just has no balance like why the hell is a Acro considered a apex if with 5 cons at 4.0 it’s health is just under 3k it’s so stupid main while Rex has 6k health then all the herbis are just stupid op. The games performance and de sync is annoying

Lovely video! Micro transactions could be very interesting in game. I like the idea of buying skins or emotes and whatnot..

Fun Fact 1: We used to be friends, stop talking for 3 years, write a bad review of game. Here he comes cursing me out in dm's deletes the curse & proceeds to tell me he will get it taken down & he hopes I feel horrible if the game goes into mixed reviews. This was years ago now. Fun Fact 2: Predatoria has banned people because they gave to much criticism of his game. That he had asked many times from this person. Fun Fact 3: Trope was supposed to be more defensive in play style not attack. But Predatoria & the donor for the trope had a falling out? So Pred decided to be spiteful & completely change how trope was supposed to be in every way opposite of the donors wishes. Game could of been good. could of been great! but while it took 1 step forward it took 3 back.

I can fully agree to fun fact 1, this has happened to me with him as well as soon as i left a bad review, but he wasn't really throwing any insults like you said.
