Watched this video, then played quillboar and got a very similar build they had hp in the thousands. Nerf inc beast must be better

They'll also need to nerf undead a bit, then the dev that only forces beasts will be happy.

@@hiddenkoalarage They also need to nerf that new mech. Ridiculous build with that trinket that summon copy of minions. You can go with full board mech+divine shield + reborn and the reborn is full hp full attack. Ancestral Automaton. TOO OP!

For quilboars an extra thing to note is the large trinket that gives you the battlecry trigger spell every turn, i.e. you can do battlecry-quilboar without Murkeye/murlocs. Always keep the bloodgem scalers until you see large trinket.

Like how he complains about beast yet this loby was pretty split between mixed, quilboar and beast. Also it's not like beast can put any fresh card for the tavern and have it gain over a thousand health instantly.... Not saying beasts aren't good, but a big portion of why they are played so much is because it's fun and pretty intuitive to build. Like even Demons, which were made with the "Big stats, not many effects" can only dream of ever reaching close to those stats in high roller builds, while Quilboars just do it casually every time the game goes past turn 10.

Today I tried a build with the guy that doubles gems played from hand (mostly cause I was a greedy bastard and was at 4 HP on like turn 11, so I needed everything I could get immediately), and it was surprisingly decent. It was not as broken as the murk-eye combo, but it was good enough to bring me back into the game, and I so nearly won but lost to the last guy, who had an awesome naga build that outstatted me. I think I just needed a bit more hand generation for it to work, I got a golden bongo bopper with a drakkari, but other than that I was just buying minions at the store. Still great fun.

Oh ye, the new 5 drop Quill is far more powerful than Charlga, especially with the trinket that makes Quillboar give you bloodgems on death.

@@suyci Or think about the trinket with +2/+2 for bloodgems with avenge(4) effect.

@@memeliciousletmemesbrighte4150 Avenge and big stats generally don't energize very well, but it's a good jumpstart for sure. Not sure if it's a minor or greater trinket tho.

I fucking hate Brann Murkeye Drakkari because it holds mechs and quilboars hostage to them, making the best card to play these tribes a Murloc and severely limiting design space. No need to print new mechanics if good old end of turn battlecry activation is still there!!

@@vitordarksiderIt's Brann in particular, he enables way too many comps, I think he should be moved to tier 7. Drakkari is definitely not the problem here

@@GeneticallyEngineeredCatgirls Brann, Drakkari and Baron are all the same type of problematic when it comes to design space. Murkeye is the problem here because it lets 2 of them stack multiplicatively with eachother and works outside of Murlocs (Rylak does this too but is limited through being in combat only).

If they already have divine shields it's good. Like a full mech board. That's probably the only reason to have it though.

Against boards that have divine shields already and it's an extra way to get divine shields on dragons sometimes through poets.

He bought the tavern pass which gives 4 options instead of 2. You can see it in the rewards as lvl 1 when bought.

with the exception of day one, I do not see to many people trying beasts. it is quilboar no1, demon and undead no2. Still, highrolling in this patch seems to be the only way to win.
