Yo noob question but I never found out how, how do u build a gate while shift click building a wall, like I'm always waiting till it's built, I see u have the option of having a gate before yr wall is finished...

1525 adds gates to a wall not built yet

You place down a regular wall. (With either shift click to make it a queued up action, or regular click) Before the villager touches a given wall segment you can left click it and press q to convert it into a gate before the wall is ever constructed

Just click the wall that is not built (blueprint or even if it just began to be build) you will have an option to turn that section into a door, or press Q as shortcut once selected
