From the lyrics, I think this song is more about a casual relationship that she starts for fun, but realized that she's grown attached to the other person (referred to as "Darling" and "Mr. Demon" in the lyrics), despite not being sure if he is right for her and if he's serious, or just using her like she wanted to use him. So now she's feeling bad about it, but the relationship itself is fun and brightening up her life for now, so she doesn't want to stop and keeps inviting her Darling over, feeling that surge of adrenaline that she needs from life. By the way, from what I can hear in the original Japanese, the person she is singing about is never referred to as a man or a woman (while the English lyrics went with a "Mr. Demon", indicating that it's a guy), so you can interpret it to be about any Miku ship you like!
