The 80's magnificent 7! Seven notes with a unique sound that any listener on the planet knowns the name and artist of the song! Instantly recognizable. That is truly the power of synth programmers and sound creators in music!

Pretty incredible. Its hard to imagine that Denny wouldn't be well aware by now that that preset demo made it onto "Beat It". Must be quite the honor. Synclavier was really so ahead of its time, a lot of commercial hybrid synth plugins today still don't even compete with what they were doing in hardware four decades ago now.

What a gem of a channel!! It’s way too cool to be getting the info straight from the guy who made it all. It’s like if John Williams had a channel.

I agree! These men were in the studio with MICHAEL JACKSON making "Thiller." I mean, I don't really get starstruck. It happened to me only a few times. Meeting Gregory Hines, Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeiffer and Rod Stewart. Pfeiffer and Stewart gave off an aura! Not to sound sacrilegious, but it was like the aura or glow artists placed around Jesus in paintings. Music is my passion and was the music nerd who read the liner notes. I have full appreciation for those in the trenches like studio musicians, engineers, and guys like these. It's why I'm subscribed to Leland Sklar's channel.

MJ together with the producers created music unmatched in another similar genre. I think that to this day I have not heard similar music or that comes out of new creations, they are all repetitive or copied. You are geniuses!

That is such a simple short riff it is literally playing the tonic notes in whole/half notes. I don't really think you could call that a composition.

Irritating when I hear others state this was a sample from a demo record. There was more work to be done to recreate the demo record for that patch.
@unclemick-synths
@unclemick-synths Жыл бұрын
It wasn't a sample but it still wasn't composed by Michael or his associates. These days MJ would have been taken to court. It wouldn't even need expert testimony to convince the jury of the similarity.
