"The instructions" lmao there are no instructions, just some documentation and a couple of basic examples. Beatwalls pretty much where all wallmappers start (this map was made using beatwalls for the pretty patterns and then they took a few extra steps for the words etc.). When you get incredibly good at Beatwalls and develop your skills over time you can create some incredible masterpieces like this. However, if you want to take it to the next step, you gotta learn how the .dat json file is formatted and read through the documentation of noodle extensions so that you can learn animations, etc. Then simply program a script to do whatever you can visualise in your head. Just stick with the very simple and easy to use well-documented beatwalls for now, and take your time developing your skills. Keep in mind that the notes are ALWAYS more important than the walls - always get it playtested several times before releasing. I created the wallmap "Gloom" btw which was done entirely through custom scripts.

Sometimes I get so low frames and tracking latency that unless I cut it perfectly down the middle it won't register as a hit and that is why there is not many artsy maps on my channel. Visuals do in general make it tougher as well, but this literally lags the game if you are recording unless you OC your pc into oblivion.

It's probably the pc, not the headset that can't handle it. Except if you're trying to play it on Oculus Quest. The needed Beat Saber mods for this map only work on the PC version. I do use Oculus Quest, but it's connected to the PC running Beat Saber.

There’s something about the 2060 that’s not right with VR. I keep reading these comments from GTX1060 owners getting good fps when my 2060 simply can’t cope. I guess I could’ve saved some money by going for the 1060 instead.

RTX 2060??? I got the GTX 1650ti (barely supported by Oculus Link), plus Oculus Link AFAIK has higher requirements than using PC-only VR set (like your Vive pro), and it works pretty smoothly... The CPU fan makes constant noise though
