I remember. I got my Quest 2 this Christmas, but I was in Oklahoma (I live on the East Coast), to visit my grandparents like I do every year. Then, even though I didn’t put it on my wish list, I received a Quest 2. But remember how I said that I was on vacation? Well the Quest 2 doesn’t come with a carrying case and I didn’t get one, so I had to wait until I got back to open the box. Fortunately for me, my cousin also got a Quest 2 that Christmas, and we went to visit them. Me and my brother went to him and he had his quest with him. So, we proceeded to all take turns playing Beat Saber. I was, however, the worst out of the group. One of us would play a map [we were playing Beat Saber(the song)], and then the next person would put it on and play the same one. When we all beat it, we would move the difficulty up. I was stuck on hard, unable to get past the intro. Then I fly back to my house, I unbox the Quest, set it up, and start to look at games to buy. I was looking at beat saber for a good bit, and I decided, after a lot of debate with myself, to get it. I beat Beat Saber on hard rather quickly, took one loot at expert, said no, and started looking for other songs. I ended up deciding on Into The Dream on hard. I remember playing for what felt like hours over and over, covered in sweat, looking at KZbin videos, and thinking that this was the hardest song in the game. Now flash forward to the present, to me beating Spin Eternally on Expert+ with an A rank, and beating Crystalized on Expert+ with relative ease, and taking on the plethora of modded song that the game has to offer. Moral of the story? I need to get a life.

I can safely claim that I can play most musics on Expert and some Expert+ thanks to practice, but yeah it's surreal to see all of the progress made from the VERY beginning of the game to where I am now (does help I beat Crystallized for the first time today)

I cant emphasize enough how important it is to USE YOUR WRISTS. The physical capability to do these songs only require you to get carpal tunnel. But most of it is getting really good at reading.

so ive been playing for around a month. beat crystallized expert plus on 2nd attempt about 10 minutes ago. Spent hours on practice tool on 2nd solo and a few other parts. My suggestion is to abuse the practice tool until you can pass the section 3 times in a row relatively well. then take your headset off, yell at yourself that you are a god, play seven nations army as loud as possible to hype yourself up then play. worked for me, best of luck
