the biggest issue are the quality checks on maps. compared to osu, you guys just let any map go through with little to no reviewing process and even then, the next big issue is that 70% of the maps only have expert+ difficulties.

@@legendfox2000 yeah I’ve noticed that too. A lot of people make levels only for expert+ and I’m perfectly fine with it but I know a lot of people would find it difficult to play.

How did you come to this conclusion? You could make something like this outside of Beatsaber and it would probably be even better..

@@hollow_dbd Even outside beatsaber it would still rely on geometry and lightsabers, which are the fundamentals. His statement I guess makes sense, because he's saying "A+B+C = unique beauty, and this beauty cannot exist without A, B, or C" which isn't logically inconsistent or anything, but is kind of just a weird and pointless statement to make. It's just a really roundabout way of saying that someone has made something beautiful/unique from an unexpected set of starting materials. But he also says it can't be recreated without those starting materials.... which is kind of like looking at a sculpture and saying "this sculpture wouldn't be this sculpture if it were made of different materials." Like, ok, lol. I guess that's true but it doesn't add anything meaningful. So really we have to assume he's just commenting on how cool it is that someone made something so beautiful from this ridiculous set of components.

you could replace the blocks with flowers and swords sticks and it'd still evoke the same feeling. i'd argue it's actually the ease and grace that make it beautiful. also, be mindful not to come off as pretentious with such vague and hollow words. 'mmm yes. these three things combine in such a way to form beauty in such a way that cant be formed without these three things' just say you're pretending to be smart and be done with it
