story time on a random ass beat that’s a vibe… between 2012-2014 i was contacted to record some verses that never made a project that a producer in my area was making. while he was trying to make a name for himself as a producer/engineer i was 17 just wanting to rap.. he and i linked up and for the duration of sessions for this project i may have recorded about 2.5 hours worth of verses… he and i lost contact for a little while i moved and shit was alright. until one day i get a call from a friend of mine from around the way that spoke to me about this producer that made it on the wayne album funeral… im no hater i love to support.. so i called this producer up and congratulated him on his success… about two years later im hearing my words… and i mean word for word.. over the radio.. but it’s not me.. it’s a pop star with all the accolades. i thought it was funny until i went home and i sat with that…… i called the producer and asked about his interaction with wayne.. i had asked if it was possible for me to get the beat pack that he used… there was over 105 files in this folder… and 7 of them had my recordings over it some of them other artist and what not. & i’m not saying he did it purposely but i do believe he’s an idiot… these men have passed around old verses for nearly a decade only for it to be presented on the album with the prego emoji.. look i know this shit mad random.. but in any event. writers. please do your homework. and watch who you’re recording for.. this isn’t to say i would’ve went platinum… because his version sound way better than mine only those were my words. my feelings. my experiences.. watch over you work and guard them with your life. my work could’ve put my grandkid through college. hate to see happen you anyone else. yall be safe and enjoy the holiday season… im bout to get back to writing peace…
